Pleasant, honest, calls back, reliable, reasonable, Top quality work quickly done. When picking a contractor for your home, you want all of the above. Connolly Construction has it. On top of excellent work, you get friendly interactions and honesty. I have had lots of work done at my house and had to weed through a lot of dishonesty and unnecessary attitude. With Chris you get honesty, no attitude and confidence. I'm glad to have found Connolly construction and will be calling on them again.

I was only able to choose one project from the drop-down above but my wife and I have worked with Chris many times over the years on several major projects. Kitchen & bathroom renovation, rebuilding our deck, turning a three season room into a year-round office, as well as some smaller projects. We have always had great experiences working with Chris and his crew. Very responsive and professional. We highly recommend Connolly Construction.

Chris and his crew are great. I have hired his company a few times for small to large projects. He is responsive and helpful. He makes sure we are happy and we arent he will make it right. Example: we had new cement shingles installed and windows. A few months later we started to notice the putty or cocking was turning pink. We let Chris know he came over and assessed it and contacted the manufacturer. Within a week he and his crew were here fixing it. He takes pride in his work and if something happens, even if its out of his control, he will make it right

We hired Chris to replace multiple windows in our new home, including in the basement and to build window screens frames for our front porch. He also opened an exterior wall to add a window in our living room. All the work was done on time and on budget and the results have been fabulous. It was a pleasure working with Chris and his crew. They remodeled front and side entrances to house; removed old wood on existing deck and installed composite deck and railings; added gutters to rear of house and garage; and remodeled entrance to garage and garage doors. Chris and I came to terms quickly,Chris understood what each of the projects required; we communicated easily when necessary; each project was completed in a timely fashion. Chrisâ crew members were respectful, easy to deal with, and they cleaned up after themselves every day they were on the job. Chris also gave me excellent references for an electrician, a mason, and a painter.

We also hired him to repair extensive interior water damage due to ice dams and to remodel a basement family room. Chris took weeks to start project which I can understand but then rushed through it. I guess $12,000 isnt a big enough project for him. He wrote in contract he was replacing door with a Harvey window and instead installed a cheap window from Home Depot that is not a match to my other windows. On top of that, the window was installed incorrectly. He was to replace the rotting wood on a deck and left it there. Replaced only one post and left cement footing above ground. He put a 2 x4 in my siding to make deck rails. I wish I could post pictures. He drove by my home the other day and laughed out the truck window. Buyer beware. Ask for receipts and dont let Chris do any work himself.

"Eileen, I am sorry you feel this way. Our contracted work was completed with the scope as discussed. We did the work a few years ago in January with temps at a high of 13 degrees. I would have waited till Spring to do the exterior projects but you needed it done so we did the various projects around your house. You were happy with all the work completed until it was time to pay. The work was all signed off by city inspectors and you have the permits to prove it. Then you decided to not pay me the full balance due. For the past couple years when I am working in your neighborhood on other projects you drive by and make comments, yell things out your car. We have many happy customers and a long list of references for anyone interested in working with us."

Chris became busy with other jobs after I placed my order with him and did not start my job for several weeks. However, he contacted me multiple times to explain the delay and update me on when he could start my job. Although I do think the quote was a bit pricey, Chris and his team did a great job. He explained everything very well and got input from me because he wanted to know how I would like the finished product to look. Chris was willing and able to make last minutes changes. It was great working with him.

The quality of work was good .But they were not good @ cleaning up A bit pricey. Next time I do a project I will get @ least 2 more estimates.. I probably would not hire them again.

"She was a very nice lady, but her house was a bit messy. We did the best we could to move things and cleaned up our construction debris. We installed 4 doors (2 exterior, a storm and an interior door as well as 3 replacement windows for her in one day. She accepted my bid and paid the final invoice with no mention to me of her dissatisfaction on our cleaning up. If she had I would have been back over to take care of it. We pride ourselves on our work and leaving the jobsite clean each day. I always recommend to get at least 3 bids to our customers."
