terrible. Never showing up untill i veg week after week. Show up a day or two then no show fir weeks . Started project i. September Should of taken a month to complete I would of been ok with 2 months but it is now December and they are about 1/8 th done . Great talker great manipulator Horrible business man and poor management - which is a pity because the work done so far has been of good quality .

Horrible, this company is the worst. 

The owner is as unreliable and unresponsive as you can get.

If Angies list supports this company I will remove myself from its list.

They did about half the work and way overcharged me.

If anyone uses them make sure everything is in writing down to the last spec.

If Angie's list cares about there reputation they will stay far away from AJT Landscaping.





Ok, now the work:

The cobblestone walls were done well.



Driveway was horrible, the cracks in it they never repaired and he promised to repair and seal the driveway. After countless calls for the next about six months I gave up. I found out the BBB dropped them.



Now the landscaping, I had about 1000 square feet of beds which they installed about six plantings from Walmart.



The owner seams sincere but once the money changes hands the empty promises come out.



STAY AWAY AND IF YOU DON'T BELEIVE ME GOOGLE THEM!

Terrible.

Upon signing contract we paid the first installment and work began on time we gave him the second installment.  Then the sporadic work and no-shows began.  We placed several calls to determine when they would be back to finish the job.  They came back to finish burying the drains said they would be back the next day to start with the cobblestone work.  Never showed up.

After several more phone calls and being told repeatedly that they would come the following day and not showing up.  One more call was made by us and he showed up to drop off approximately 84 stones for the driveway boarder.  We haven't seen nor heard from him since.  That was 10 days ago.

We got ripped off and nothing to show for it but a torn up driveway we can't use and a pile of stones that have been sitting there for over a week.

This whole project has been nothing but a nightmare and caused us so much stress and aggravation that we are going to have to hire someone else to finish the work.

Do not use these people they are not reliable and their communication and work ethic is a disgrace.

Pros: the work was completed on time and on budget. Cons: one walkway was installed off the perpendicular, and the bricks were sliced off at an angle to give the appearance of straightness. The landing was not installed properly, such that water pools in the center. Once the work is done and the check is cashed, don't expect to hear from Al again.

This was the most time consuming and frustrating experience of my life.

He did some construction and the plastering fell off right outside my house. I wrote him a registered letter and got no response. I learned shortly thereafter that the reason I didn't get a response was because he was going to jail for reasons related to his construction work. I hired him because he had wonderful recommendations on his website. When I mentioned his name to some other people, they said that I shouldn't use him.

The work performed by this company was an absolute disaster. We should have known that we were in trouble when they had to send the estimate guy out 4 times before he was able to understand what we wanted and write an adequate proposal. When we were finally satisfied with the proposal we had them start the job, only to come home on the first day to find that they had not only torn out the stairway and walkway, but also the huge retaining wall that lines our front yard (about 20 feet long by 5 feet tall!). They then tried to blame the mistake on us (saying we weren't clear on what we wanted done- huh? we had the proposal guy out here FOUR TIMES), and tried to charge us additional money to replace the wall. I actually spoke to the owner, who said "You should feel lucky, most contractors would just cut their losses and leave." Needless to say, we did not feel lucky. In the end, they replaced the retaining wall with a shoddy, cheap concrete block wall, that is now cracking.

They came when they were supposed to.

They were very nice and did a great job. I would hire them again. They was a mix-up at the beginning but they resolved the problem.

POOR AT BEST.

ONCE I GAVE THEM A DEPOSIT THE NICE AND POLITE WENT AWAY. I HAD TO CALL "EVERYDAY" FOR AT LEAST 2 WEEKS BEFORE SOMEONE WOULD CALL ME BACK. THE BASIC WORK GOT DONE, BUT THE FINISHING WAS FOREVER AND EVER!! THERE WAS NO SUCH THING AS "RESPONSIVENESS". DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!

I CAN'T COMMENT ON THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK BUT I WAS GREATLY INCONVENIENCED IN MY FRUITLESS EFFORT TO GET AN ESTIMATE.
