They are good. We have used them for a long time. They are helpful and very personable, very honest and reasonably priced.

Found them using Angies List. It's just a garage place. The guys were sort of brusque. I felt the place wasn't very female friendly (compared to garages I've gone to that are cleaner and have a more professional way of presenting themselves), but they did the work they said they would for a decent price, on time and it went well. We'd use them again.

Galaxy auto was super helpful and professional from start to finish. Phones are promptly answered, scheduling was simple, and picking up the car was a piece of cake. They worked with the auto-insurance company so I didn't have act as middle man. The repair process was hassle-free. I will return hands-down. I cannot speak to price because I did not get alternate quotes. I found them on Angie's List, trusted all the excellent reviews, and was not disappointed. Thank you!

I stopped by Galaxy to get an estimate for fixing a dent in the rear panel of our car. I have used a previous auto body shop in the past but, although they are more conveniently located for me than Galaxy, they never seemed to be very cordial.  It was time to try someone else who might treat their customers better.  After looking at reviews I tried Galaxy.  I'm glad I did!  Danny took one look at the dent and thought he could simply pop it out.  He grabbed a suction cup and popped it out - the entire visit was under 5 minutes!  Does the panel look perfect?  It's close.  And, he did not charge anything for this fix - quite a good value!  I will definitely give my business to Galaxy if (when??) I need another repair.

The business was very efficient and professional.  The owner and manager were cordial and efficient in their customer transactions, and they did not display the cloying friendliness that is sometimes experienced with other auto body businesses.  The estimate covered all aspects of work for new replacement repair and was at the standard cost for the Boston area.  I noticed that someone was searching for used replacement panels on the internet.  That avenue was not offered; thus, I presume it was not employed in the auto body repair of my car.  Also, the work was complete a day early! The work was of excellent quality and the area repaired appears new. I was not charged for removal of the fender dent. The fender dent was done two days after the estimate.  The auto body work was done four weeks later.  I paid with check.  It was a bit of a financial ouch. However, my car has better resale value, barring the risks of driving in the Boston area traffic.  Will update if needed.

I got quotes from 5 auto body shops because we were paying for the work ourselves, not using insurance. Galaxy was the cheapest and able to schedule the work the soonest. They stuck exactly to the quote; there weren't any surprise charges. And finished the work when promised. And the car looked great.

Based on reviews here, I had my car towed to Galaxy. The guys there are true professionals. My truck was repaired completely and perfectly (based on 3 weeks after getting it back). Galaxy and my insurance company worked together seamlessly. I of course hope I never need auto body repairs again, but if I do, Galaxy is the best!

Danny and team advised that, given the age and life-expectancy of my old Honda, a beautiful body job with welding and fill would be inappropriate. Danny shopped online and initially determined that patch panels were not available, at least not from his usual vendor. He sketched out a creative plan for adapting front panels to patch the back, but a quote would require some thinking, and he would have to get back to me. He didn't do so right away, but after a week or so, I called to follow up, and he apologized for dropping the ball. Then his employee Josh called me--he had, in fact, found patch panels and wanted to have another look at the car once the panels were in hand. I brought it by, and they looked like they would work. Super Storm Sandy was bearing down as the appointment approached, but I brought the car in anyway, with the wind beginning to rise, figuring it was as safe in the shop as in my neighborhood. The shop had to close for the storm and lost power for a few days, but through some creativity and use of connections, rigged up generators to get keep their work moving. They actually finished the work only a day after the original promise! The job is presentable enough (if you squint) and will keep the vehicle passing inspection for the next couple of years. This is precisely what we agreed on. I did apply some touch-up paint to the car afterwards, to protect an area that they had dinged with a grinder. But I know from experience with them that if I had noticed it before I left the shop, they would have taken care of it for me. I just need to remember to inspect before driving off.
Galaxy is a very progressive shop in terms of health and environmental impact, using water-based paints, great air filtration, and lots of recycling. They also support the community through can donation and school booster programs. Everybody is upbeat, and the employees seem to be proud to be there. This is a great shop to do business with.

Josh Logan gave me a quote. He was efficient and professional. The job was to repair the tailgate on our X5. There were dents and a need for repainting.The job was completed on schedule and came in slightly under quote. My husband who is very particular about auto repairs was very happy with the job done.We will recommend this shop without reservations.

I liked everything. Everything was perfect. The price was right. The service was excellent. The repairs came out right.

Completed an detailed estimate, on paper, on my first visit. The car had been hit in the parking lot, suffering damage to the front driver side, and was eventually declared a total loss by the insurance company. Listened to my vacation plans and suggested that they do a quick fix of the marker light to make it drivable. They did this for me on schedule. After my vacation, they completed other work (replace bumper cover, left fender panel, and hood washer nozzle; match paint) as they'd quoted and as they'd discussed. They called when they said they'd call, and finished the work when they said they would both times. The work looks beautiful.

This is a great shop. The other two places I went for quotes just wanted to know how much money I was getting from insurance. This shop took the trouble to do a real estimate, and patiently helped me figure out what was worth replacing on my car, which has rot on some panels, but still gets great gas mileage. The management prefers to be as green as possible in its choice of materials, and protects its employees and the neighborhood with good ventilation and filters. They are friendly, accepting, and even know the bus lines.

Estimate was quick and clear. Body work was completed on time and below estimate! Friendly, very professional shop that I recommend highly.

Polite, fair estimate, responsive and good quality work done on time

While driving our new minivan, I misjudged distance while backing out of a friend's driveway, and hit a parked car, badly damaging it and my own bumper. I felt terrible, and felt worse when I went to the car dealer and they gave me a quote of 700 dollars to fix just my car. Our regular mechanic suggested that I call Galaxy, and I went with a heavy heart to hear the bad news about the price. The gentleman at Galaxy took a look, and explained that I did not need to replace the entire bumper - he could pop it out and repaint it for $45 dollars. He did this within a half an hour, saved me 650 dollars, and my car looks like new. I couldn't be more thrilled.

Overall, the experience was totally positive and I will recommend them to folks forever. I stopped in briefly on the recommendation of friends who own a car service and have been using Galaxy for years. Josh and Danny noted the paint color and a few days later called me to say the bumper was in. I left the car and less than an hour later it was on and gorgeous. Of course I scraped a little paint off the new bumper almost immediately and they touched it up promptly and at no charge. These guys are true gentlemen and very smart business men.

Dan's estimate came in at $975, well less than an estimate for the work I had gotten while living in Chicago. We discussed some dents on the rear driver's side quarter of the car. Dan advised me not to do the full body work now (to remove the dents). Instead, he offered to buff out the paint scratching for free, and then we'd decide whether to go ahead with the added work. In addition to the free work he initially offered, Dan also buffed out some marks on the trunk. The work looks great. Dan's a straight shooter, and I will definitely go back to him.

These guys know their stuff and really take pride in their work. This is the second time I've been to Galaxy and highly recommend it. The first job they did for me, I had dented and badly scratched the rear passenger door. After several estimates from other local shops, I went with Galaxy because they were so reasonably priced and could provide a quick turnaround. The atmosphere is casual, friendly, neighborly and professional. I am moving out of state and they said to give them a call if I need any questions answered about auto body shops in my new state. Danny, Josh, and whole team are wonderful!
