My car needed a fair amount of work. I brought my car in on a Friday and had it back the next day. It's running better than ever now and I will definitely be using their shop from now on!

Needed a part, ordered o/n, picked up van next day..All work smoothly and no problems with work accomplished since....

My experience has been very different than the other review up here.
We first used them when the Honda dealer told us the engine on our Odyssey needed to be replaced. Jim gave a completely different (and far less expensive) diagnosis, so we switched to him. We continued to drive the car for years and probably another 75,000+ miles (without ever replacing the engine).
I have been very happy with his service. He gives us a heads-up about major work coming in the future, gives a realistic assessment of different options for repairs, and doesn't always recommend the expensive approach. He's accommodating about scheduling, and probably most importantly I have never been in any way dissatisfied with the results. We recently replaced our Odyssey with a Sienna, and have been taking it to the dealer our first year because a bunch of the first year work is and quot;freeand quot;, but we plan on taking it to Jim as well.

The service was not BAD. I would say not very courteous or customer service oriented, but not horrible. My big issue is with the pricing. The first time I used them I thought the price was high because they needed to do a lot of work. Subsequent repairs I knew were pretty straightforward were also expensive though; similar to dealer prices. If you want to pay dealer prices I recommend you go to a dealer and get dealer quality service. If you want to pay private repair shop prices go elsewhere.

Coming from NH, I needed to register and insure my 1992 Camry in MA. Inspection reported failed front coil spring and emissions failure. Inspection station gave me the report which included a list of certified repair shops. I picked the nearest one, Pearson Honda Service. On 9/18/07 Pearson repaired the coil spring and notified me I needed a new catalytic converter, which they replaced. Upon re-inspection, my vehicle FAILED EMISSIONS AGAIN! I let Pearson know the problem. Pearson came and picked up the vehicle to fix it at no cost. I requested compensation for having to have it re-inspected, $29. Pearson returned the car ALREADY INSPECTED with a passing grade and new inspection sticker, which I had not asked him to do. I was unable to get another test of the emissions, once the sticker was on my car. This left me very unhappy, as I had paid a lot of money for what could have been an unnecessary repair. It could have just been a sensor problem, instead.

They understand Honda's very well and the diagnose things very quickly and they work hard. The only time I have not used them was when I moved away for three years.
