Dulverton Home’s first job was finishing our family room with reclaimed wood floors, beams, and walls. Later Gary added custom upper and lower cabinets. He built our 30’x40’ post and beam barn and later added a custom kitchen and bathroom to that space. He and his crew assembled our glass greenhouse from Canada and built 3 out buildings for our farm, a well house, a tool house and a 3 bay garage. The next project was a post and beam structure we call the Harvest House with a built in cooler. Currently, Dulverton Homes is adding on to the Harvest House to create a wash and pack area for our farm that is 30x50. Dulverton Homes has renovated one of my family members kitchen/living room space and master bed room/bathroom. Gary has also replaced all the windows in another family members home. Judging by all the projects Gary has worked on for us and my family members it’s safe to say Gary’s work is exceptional and he is kind, calm, efficient, talented, and just a good man.

Overall I'd have to say that Gary and Dulverton Homes did a beautiful job on our home improvement project. It was a big undertaking and as renovations tend to do, the project grew as we went along and took longer than expected. The end result however is exactly what we wanted. Gary and the majority of his workers, were patient with us and our small children (and wacky cat), and were considerate and respectful of our home and yard. They tried to keep the house and yard as neat as possible during the renovation. Gary was readily available for questions and issues that came up. We were new to building and home renovation, and learned to ask detailed questions and to get lots of clarity in order to remain on track with your budget. As things change and evolve in the project, invariably costs change and things add up quickly. Gary was fair in his dealings with us re: costs and our budget concerns. Our family is really enjoying our new space.

Gary Tipson, the owner, is the easiest man to work with. He is honest and has a mild manner. You will not find an easier contractor to work with.

We were pleasantly surprised to observe how well he had organized all trades to complete job on schedule (no week week long dead time). Minor adjustments to design were performed to schedule and with good quality. No issues to hire him again when needed and would strongly recommend. Very responsive to updates on progress/bottlenecks.

Nothing short of a nightmare with no effort on builder's part to right anything. Also can't account for over $10,000. no matter how many times we review invoices with him, and, would come over with his kids and remove inventory paid for by me.
