Stop N Stare Painting

We had a painter that left a new build home unfinished and in poor condition. Chris came and put my worries to rest. At first I thought maybe this is how it was, but after a walk through Chris explained what was done incorrectly, poorly and why it looked how it did. Essentially the whole house needed to be re-done including staining the stairs, painting trim/base boards/doors/ceilings, and caulking. It was a tedious job, but Chris was up to the task. He immediately made me comfortable, at ease, and heard. 1 week job turned to two, but that was because they wanted it to be perfect for us and ensure it was done right. In the end they did a fantastic job and he was very easy to communicate with. I worked from home part of the time and it wasn’t awkward at all. The home actually felt weirdly quiet after they left, we were so used to having them there. I wish we hired stop n stare originally because we would have gotten quality and ease of mind out the gate. I will definitely be calling them in the Spring to finish our outdoors. Highly recommend.

Owner and lead painter Chris was fantastic. I had some electrical work done that required opening up some holes in the walls and a couple in a ceiling. Because it had been awhile since the house was painted Chris suggested painting whole walls instead of just over the holes. It was definitely the right choice. I don’t think I can spot where the previous holes even were now. Additionally, the detail work around the base boards, outlets, switches, and fixtures was perfect. He certainly did a better job than I could have done. Definitely would recommend.

I am very happy with the work they did. They were quick but thorough. They found the exact colors I requested, and the room looks terrific. I would definitely recommend them and hire them again for any further painting job.

I know it is easy to say good or bad but these young men did everything ask of them. They were fast and punctual. They were also quick and very clean. I was a little worried because they were more reasonable price wise than the other estimate. You can put that to rest because a picture tells the story, the house came out absolutely beautiful. The home now looks better than it did when we bought the house 30 years ago. Hire these young men you won't be disappointed.
