"[Member Name Removed], My guys that were at your home have all worked for me for many years. Things can happen during a move. They all are honest hard working men. If there ever is a claim for something that gets damaged they always bring it to my attention and the customers attention. You willingly chose the free insurance coverage of 60c per pound to replace damaged items. When the men explained to you that the legs on your piece are spindle legs and are fragile and the item shouldn’t be slid. If it was to be moved it should be lifted and placed not slid. When they came back into the room and you had slid it and Snapped the leg this is something that insurance doesn’t cover. It only covers it if we break the leg. All 4 of the men that were on your job told me you slid the piece. There isn’t any reason for them to lie. 60c per pound coverage would be like $30 why would I try to deny a legitimate claim so minimal. It would be in my best interest to have an unhappy customer for this small of a cost. The other items that you have were placed into a file cabinet because they fell out of the desk were had to stand on end to get out of the room it was in. As far as your whole move every thing else was perfect. To move your whole home and the listed items were only the issues to have I think we did pretty good. And since you tipped the guys and said they did a great job that’s usually saying you were pleased also. If you were unhappy why would you tip them and 2 why wouldn’t you call me as soon as there was an issue. Not over a week later. As I said before in our emails I would have gladly sent you the $20-30 dollars to help in resolving these minimal issues. I try to make all my customers as happy as possible."
"[Member Name Removed], I am sorry for the miscommunication on your part. Upon requesting our service you requested a 3 man crew. You even asked for me to email you a confirmation with the rate which is $168 per hour. Prior to your move date you asked us to bring a 4th crew member which over the phone I stated $218 per hour for a 4 man crew. Our rates are registered in the MA dpw offices by state law. As I had stated in the email I sent you, we never charged your credit card for the deposit so the amount of the bill was correct. As far as the rug that was soiled, even though when I asked my crew they were not aware of any grease on their feet, I told you I would within reason pay for the rug to be cleaned again. I am a very easy person to work with and when I feel we make a mistake I honor that mistake. We have had all A reviews on Angies list for many years. The voicemail that you left stating that if I didn't pay you what you wanted,you would hurt my reviews on Angies list is a blatant disrespect for the site. Also my responsiveness you rated an F, I had many conversations and sent you an email in regards to the rug cleaning and the one time I tried to reach you by phone your phone didn't take messages. I feel you need to rethink your remarks on here. Once again I have no problem paying the rug cleaning of $125"
We lived in an apartment in Boston and were moving to the suburbs. It took a little over 4 hours for three friendly movers to get us moved from the moment they walked in to the moment they left. They helped us disassemble tricky IKEA furniture and did a lot of heavy lifting, handling fragile items with care. We've been unpacking the house for a few days now and every piece we brought over, including glass, is in perfect shape. We are happy with Statewide Movers and would use them again.

They were professional and worked efficiently which was good as we were paying by the hour.
They stored the contents until 5/1/15.
The unload into the new house was also efficient and professional. Nothing was damaged throughout the process.

The 3 gentlemen who came were here right on time and each offered their hand as they introduced themselves and offered their hands again with a thank -you as they left. Not one item scratched or broken. They were great and I would definitely reccomend them to anyone I know that is moving.
Move took only about 1/2 an hour. They arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves, and were super friendly and helpful.
