LAMBERT'S PLUMBING & HEATING

The plumber's name was Brian.  He quoted me on the combi-boiler that I had researched and chosen.  He wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive.  He came in right in the middle.  However, I was really disappointed with the job.  He did not cut off the 2x4's used as part of mounting the boiler and my tall husband was hitting hit head.  He also did not install the external sensor that came with the high efficiency boiler.  He also left a huge mess in my basement including toxic oil spills!  He installed the boiler on the wall where I had shelves and used the  exisiting 2x4's that were there.  He did not offer to remount my shelves or credit my job even though he did not use his own wood.  Additionally, he spilled oil on my back lawn and the grass won't grow and 2 years have gone by.  He also did not walk me through the safety, operation and shut off of the system.  
The combi boiler produces somewhat lower ph condensate water - I had researched that if you had an iron soil pipe, you needed an inline buffer. He did not suggest it.  I did and he installed after I mentioned it.  He also quoted the installation of 3 T's for future appliances on the pipe and he only installed one.  
I would not recommend them to anyone.  Live and learn.  I did not know to ask about these issues. I am a first time homeowner and thought I had done my homework.  Live and learn.  It is very discouraging that this job was so poorly done.

PAUL WAS VERY COURTEOUS, BUT DIDN'T REALLY WANT TO TAKE THE TIME TO INVESTIGATE THE PROBLEM TO THE FULL EXTENT. HE PUMPED THE CESS POOL & TOLD US TO CALL FOR ANOTHER APPT.

FROM THE PERSON THAT ANSWERED THE CALL IN THE MORNING, TO THE PLUMBER THAT CAME OUT AND FIXED OUR TOILET, IT WAS PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY FROM THE WORD GO!
