Said he'd be there at 8am and was right on time. Took a total of 2 hours and everything is working well and the place was clean. He even disposed of the old fixtures for me. Definitely would call them again.

Received a quote for a galvanized pan, new hoses and a drain in the amount of $750. I also got a quote for a galvanized pan, new hoses and a faucet solenoid to shut off the water if there is a leak for $575. I though about it and decided to get both done. I asked for a price and was quoted $1325. Not sure why it was the total of both quotes. I would assume there would be a cost saving for the galvanized pan, hoses, removing the washer, putting in the pan and replacing the hoses which was included in both quotes. Still not sure why, I guess they just didn't want to do the work.
Description of Work: Called to get a quote on installing a second floor drain with pan and new hoses for washing machine. I also got a quote on a pan, hoses and automatic shutoff.

When I called phone was answered professionally. They said flat out they could not be there until the next day. They were, and got us fixed. Best they taught me how to fix this, when it happens again.
Description of Work: Shower / Tub and sink clogged. Called Mon am, service scheduled Tues 8am. Arrived early (740). Inspected problem, had to "back to shop" to get proper tool. What impressed me was that Brian took time to teach me how to fix this WHEN it occurs again. While I do not like to spend $ 150 to fix a clog, I believe that when this happens again, I know what to do. Good Deal.

I had already tried everything myself to get this plug out including using corrosive liquids with no success. The clog was about 50 ft down the line and we decided to hire out the fix. We called on Saturday but decided the project could wait until Monday morning for $125/hr. At first we were hesitant about the price, however when the job was done we would have ended up paying more for them going so above and beyond for us. Mike was the plumber and he first tried to auger the drain from the kitchen with no success. Next, he went into the crawl space to auger the main line. The highly corrosive chemical I attempted to use splattered him when he opened the drain from the crawl space. He cleaned off and went right back to work to finish the job! He actually found corrosion in the strainer basin and replaced the trap as required by code which other plumbers in the past completely avoided. Mike also rebuilt the PVC trap to code which had not been dealt with by other plumbers in the past. Mike did all the work to code, and cleaned up completely afterward. He was polite and extremely easy to work with as well. I had used sulfuric acid, and I wanted to let other members know that it is useless and dangerous. When you do have to call the plumber, and you will have to, it makes the job harder and burns the plumber. Plumbers tell you not to use acid, as nothing stronger than hot water should go down the drain. It is inevitable that drains will clog, and when they do, you should use an auger or call a plumber rather than turning to chemicals. Running additional hot water down the drain may help stave off the clog, but it will happen eventually.
Description of Work: We hired Compass Plumbing to unclog a drain in our bathroom as well as ultimately repair the sink that was involved in the drain clog.
