The contractors showed up when expected, cleaned up every day, and completed the job in a timely manner. We had a punch list at the end of the project, all items were addressed. The installation of steps, rails and ballusters proved to be a difficult process. They were redone, but still are not as good as the porch steps they installed. One of the contractors cussed often and loud with young children around. The reroofing of the shed went smoothly.

The owner of Wellmark Construction came to my home for a consultation and pricing of the job.  Since they were located locally in West Boylston, MA I decided to have them install two sets of double hung windows in the upstairs bedrooms.  I was told it would take 4-6 weeks for the materials to arrive at which time I would be contacted to establish an installation date.  When I tried to contact them for an order update I had to leave a phone message.  We went back and forth with phone messages before I actually spoke to someone.  I was a little frustrated in not getting an immediate response.  Once we finally connected and established a date, the owner and another man arrived and installed the windows.  They moved quickly and completed the work in about two hours.  I was assured that the windows were under warranty and that if there were any problems, I was to call Wellmark.  Overall Wellmark did a good job and cleaned up after installation.  I would recommend them to others for window installation.

Welmark did an extensive renovation of the exterior of our house in the year 2000 and did an excellent job. So, we went back to them for an overhaul of our aging bathroom. We received an estimate and they promptly went to work. The work took longer than we anticipated. Unfortunately, some of the subcontractors were not good. The plasterer left a mess behind and now (2 years later) we have plaster falling from the ceiling. (Truth be told, the contractor made certain that the plasterer cleaned up his mess.) We have cracks in our new tile floor. We had to replace the faucet 6 months after it was installed. Last, but not least, in their haste to strip the bathroom down to its and quot;bones,and quot; the workmen tossed out the window screen which we had to replace at our own expense. The paint job was rushed and we need to repaint. All in all we were disappointed with the work.
