They do a very nice job.  The facility is very clean.  They’re punctual with their appointments and are also convenient and accommodating to my schedule. I like going there because it’s a soothing and lovely place.  You get the best of both worlds between a spa and quick service salon.

The stylist is very responsive and the hair cut is perfect for what I need and want. Their price is lower than the previous person I used to use. They also do very good coloring and fantastic facials. I would recommend them to others.

Helena Cohen does a wonderful job. She does a new procedure called INOA hair color. This is a permanent hair color treatment. They are convenient to schedule with and it is a nice small salon.

Over many visits to Ardan I found myself increasingly irritated by the disdainful attitude of the owner. I went back because he was a skilled stylist and I had not found anyone else better. But after a while it became clear that even though I typically spent $75 for a cut and left another $15 to $20 in tips, I was not the customer he wanted because I didn't load up on "product." Not infrequently he zipped off in the middle of a cut, leaving me sitting wet haired and mortified while he pursued another customer who was leaving and might be persuaded to buy some shampoo or conditioner on the way out. I finally stopped going when the owner convinced me to sign up for a hair straightening process that he said was totally natural and could last up to five months. A few minutes of checking on line revealed that it actually relied on the usual toxic straightening chemicals and lasted 2-3 months at best. At that point I stopped going altogether.

The pedicures consistently last without chipping for three weeks and they do a nice manicure. I have always liked their work. There are only two gals who work there. They are both very nice and they do a very nice job.
