Advanced Energy Systems Development

UPDATE: I signed a contract with a 5 year warranty. Now I can't find him, he has gone completely off the grid. I now have 6 leaks, a malfunctioning (non functioning) system and I am being told repair costs will cost me around $2k to clean up the terrible job that was done.

Charlie is a great guy. He really cares about every project, and I appreciate that. The install was initially delayed (NO fault of his, the weather was terrible) but the exterior install was fantastic. My only 2 complaints about the install are interior fit and finish. I had him install the cabling and water pipe in an existing wall. The patch work was not very well done, and I was disappointed. In addition the piping and electrical cables installed in my garage do not look very professional and look a bit mickey mouse, and is a shame because 98% of the project was done so well.
My suggestion is, stay on top of the project, and make sure that your expectations of how wires are going to be run is very well documented and discussed, and you will have a very nice install.
My only other suggestion, and this doesn't matter who you are going with, is to be wary of hot water systems. The temperature and pressure differentials in these systems can cause problems as there is considerable shrinking and growing, which stresses the system. We have had a few leaks in the hot water system, which I hear is very typical.

We lost heat during an extremely cold night. I called Advanced Energy at 7:30 a.m., and they had a service technician at my house by 9:15 a.m. He was professional, courteous, showed us what the problem was (a burned out pilot light sensor) and offered a choice of two sensor brands. We couldn't have been happier with the service, and were extremely grateful for his prompt response. We highly recommend Advanced Energy Systems of Westwood.
