We had an extremely positive experience with Woodacre. They do a thorough and professional job and are extremely prompt and attentive. The owner himself has come several times, checking systems, providing estimates, etc they have been very professional. We would absolutely recommend them.

It wasn't a complicated job, but it was performed quickly and well. The repairman was friendly and gave me some advice on on the hardware and filters. He was able to come within minutes of my call.

From start to finish, Doug was very professional. His quote was in the middle of the 3 quotes I received. He explained clearly the pros and cons of the system he recommended (and other he did not). Hi installation was very meticulous and the layout was well thought out with everything very easily accessible. He removed two ancient gas boilers, replacing them with one efficient system.
When we needed to add another register in the kitchen and study, he went over the possible locations, proposing the best location for each. His crew was very courteous, showing up on the scheduled day and time, and provided regular updates on the progress. The installation came in on time and on budget, and his crew was very neat, cleaning up their work area at the end of each day.
UPDATE: On Septemebr 24, they came to perform the yearly service and address a fault condition noted in the boiler. They came within 24hrs of being called and quickly and efficiently corrected the problem and performed the service.
I am using them for my yearly service contract and they will service the boiler in my rental unit. I recommend them without reservation for any heating project.

Installing insulation when it was noted that CO levels at outside exhaust were too high. Spoke to person who had serviced the forced air hvac for previous owners (about 2 yrs ago) and was not able to take CO readings. He recommended another company. They came out and measured normal levels, but when we checked again they were still high. Called Woodacre and they came out the next day. Took the information about the unit and confirmed high CO levels. They wanted to talk to the manufacturer and called back a few days later with ideas of how to fix. They returned as scheduled and fixed the problem (inlet gas pressure was too high).

We called Woodacre in the morning when our heat would not turn on. Despite it being the first real cold day and many calls from distressed customers, they were very responsive. They were very prompt and courteous. The repairman assessed the problem, went out and got the part, returned quickly and made the repair. We were completely satisfied and pleased with Woodacre's service.

The tech (Wes) arrived as scheduled and quickly confirmed that the thermostat was the problem. I chose a new programmable thermostat from the options he showed me, and he offered that for the same labor charge he would install a new programmable thermostat for the second floor I had purchased previously. He had both done within an hour, answered some questions, and we had heat again.
I liked my experience with Woodacre and would go back to them again. [I should mention that about 60% of the fee for this work was the cost of the new thermostat. Expensive as thermostats go, but well-suited to our system.]

I have dealt with this company for years. I know them, I am comfortable with them, and they have been responsible for all these years. They even came out New Years day when we lost heat. We have been using them since we moved in 1976 and we have had no problems.

This is a FANTASTIC group! I highly recommend them. Our gas boiler was leaking and needed to be replaced. We were going out of town and needed it done within 5 days. They came out and gave me an estimate on a Monday and performed the work on Thursday. They removed the old one and put the new one in all in one day! Their performance exceeded my expectations greatly! They were very polite, they didn't leave any mess at all and they kept me updated and very informed on what they were doing. The new boiler is fantastic - no problems at all. Thanks!

HE IS AN INSTITUTION. HE HAS WONDERFUL PEOPLE WORKING FOR HIM. I HAD THE FIRE DEPARTMENT COME TO MY HOME BECAUSE THERE WAS SOMETHING THAT WAS GIVING A BURNING SMELL. THEY SAID I NEEDED TO GET THE PROBLEM TAKEN CARE OF IMMEDIATELY. I CALLED WOODACRE AND THEY WERE HERE IN 5 MINUTES, FASTER THAN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT!
