I've used Wayland Computer (Dana) more than a handful of times over the past five years.  As with this experience, every time I needed Dana's help, I received quick, top-notch service, at a very affordable price.
As with other experiences, Dana promptly responded to my email and quickly set up a time to pick up the laptop.  That same night, he emailed the diagnosis, and the next day he delivered the laptop, repaired and ready to go.
He has also been very responsive to follow-up questions. 
I can't thank him enough for the help and professionalism.

His service was excellent. He was very prompt. He called me within a few hours after I had left a message. I believe the evening of the same day, he came, picked up the computer, took it to his shop, and gave it back two days after. It was fine. I was very happy with the service. He did a very professional job. I think he is a one-man show. Talking to him, he seemed quite experienced and knowledgeable, and his price was fair. He delivered back exactly what he promised. I would highly recommend him.

My experience was over a year ago - so maybe they have improved their
customer service. When I was trying to use them - they did not answer
their phone or call back. I left several messages. Then when I got to
them - they had limited time for an appointment. The work they did
was fine but I am not sure it was worth the hassle of getting to them
and setting up the appointment. I think they really want to be working
with small businesses, not individuals. I have moved on to other
computer service groups.

There was a several day delay in getting WIndows reinstalled because he had to have HP send a disk which turned out to be faulty. He was able to get one from another source and then returned the laptop to me on a Sunday. He was very knowledgable, professional and kept me updated on the status.

When my system would not boot, I called the computer manufacturer who said that I would need to have all the data extracted by a specialist, have the operating system wiped clean and reinstalled, and then have the data put back on the system. In a bit of a panic, I called Dana (Wayland Computer). He picked up the laptop that day on one of his runs. The same night he emailed to let me know that he repaired a corrupted file system and that the system did not need to be reinstalled. Dana dropped the laptop back the next morning. Phenomenal service, extremely reasonable price.

My home machine was randomly shutting down. Dana was able to efficiently diagnose and repair the problem. Luckily it was just clogged heat sinks causing the processor to overheat. Dana went the extra mile, examining the state of the system, running system tests and scans and giving me valuable advice for self maintenance. Dana was courteous and helpful on the initial phone call. He was clear about his billing rates and charged fairly and accordingly. He arrived promptly at the appointed time and was very informative when I called for follow up information. I highly recommend him.
