M & D Painting

From the moment we met the owner, Marty Somers, we knew we had our contractor. He listened carefully to what we wanted done, was extremely knowledgeable about all the aspects of exterior maintainence from replacing boards and framing, to reframing windows for  a high-end designer asthetic, to the best paint brands and finishes. He was realistic about the scope of the work, but was always clear on what needed to be done for safety and future maintainence but also worked to keep the cost reasonable by finding economical solutions that produced great results-- without having to bring in costly, unnecesary subcontractors.
He set a clear timeline which he followed to a tee, and has up a quote 30% lower than the previous painters.

And then the crew-- in my 10 years as a homeowner, I have NEVER seen a more responsible and hard-working crew in my life! They showed up EXACTLY when they said they would, and often worked from 8AM straight through to 6PM. Once in 99 degree heat I had to force them to take a break to drink water and cool off.  They were extremely responsible- cleaning up all the mess at the end of the day... so that our landscape actually looked better after they left than before the job. They even worked their schedule so that they would be on the side of the house away from my 1 year old's bedroom during his naps each day.

Best of all was how our house came out!  In my wildest dreams I never imagined it would look this amazing! The hand painting and fine detail work on the trim and accent areas is stunning. Our house is now truly an eye-catcher. I've gotten so many compliments from neighbor's and passersby and have recommended M & D numerous times already. I know there are the big names out there- but that certainly doesn't guarnantee this kind of quality service. I HIGHLY recommend M & D!!!!!!!!
