House Cleaning
Star Cleaning has been my regular housecleaner since 2004. Jaece Oliveira, one of the owners, always comes himself, with one assistant. I like that the staffing is consistent--I've only seen three different assistants in that eight years--so I don't have to keep repeating instructions to new people. They always do a very thorough job, and cheerfully redo any areas that aren't perfect, which happens rarely. My house has lots of wood flooring and decorative woodwork, which they handle beautifully. They also do extra cleaning jobs as needed: windows once or twice a year, brass polishing, scrubbing/resealing my slate floor, etc.
