Its hard for us to imagine Ron getting a good review from anyone. He was one of the most irresponsible, rude and disastrous contractors we have ever worked with. He was a nightmare. In fact when we needed another deleading job a few years later and hired someone else, we had no idea how smoothly something like deleading could go. He was very nice on the initial meeting, but once he got the job he could care less about us. He was late in showing up, never showed when he said he would, blamed him own disfunction on the other contractors who the responsible ones, never listened only attacked, and even kept the inspector waiting for the job to be completed, even when he indicated when he would come for the final inspection, which he boasted would pass, but because he was so lax on the job, it failed. If you want to save yourself from working with a complete jerk, stay away from him, he is bad news and should not be working in the industry.

Ron Barone is a consumate professional, who promptly arrived early at our meetings.  He is extremely knowledgeable and did an excellent job explaining  the details of the lead inspection report to me.  Ron was able to recommend lead paint removal solutions that would keep the existing paint intact and minimize disrupting the aesthetics of the house.  Ron truly enjoys his work and it shows in the quality of his output.  Not only did he resolve the lead paint issues identified in the lead inspection report, but also, he went the extra mile to make additional non lead paint related repairs.  The best thing was that Ron did the lead paint removal and repairs within the agreed upon timeframe, which was an extremely tight deadline.  He and his crew are hardworkers who worked late hours and over the holiday weekend to get the job done. Throughout the process, Ron was accessible and responsive any time that I called to check the status of the job.  When the job was completed, Ron went above and beyond the call of duty by coordinating the lead paint re-inspection with ASAP Environmental Services.  Thanks to Ron and his team's efforts, I was able to get a letter of full deleading compliance.   As a first time home buyer, you hear so many horror stories about working with contractors.  In our case, it was refreshing and comforting to work with someone who honored his word and did an excellent job!  I would definitely recommend Ron Barone's Lead Paint Removal Services.
