PRIME GLASS & MIRROR

Prime glass was excellent. They replaced the black rubber gaskets on 2 of my mom's brass shower door hinges with newer clear gaskets, tightened the other two hinges and replaced a plastic sweep under one door. They were very nice, neat, on-time and professional. All went smoothly including getting a quote over the phone from Larry, to scheduling the appointment with Steve, to having the work performed by Hector/Bob and finally paying Donna for the services. It was a pleasure to do business with Prime Glass. I will definitely call them again.

Great! I dropped off a couple of broken storm windows on a Monday morning. Friendly staff. They put together a quick quote for me and told me that they would be ready in a few days. Then, they called me that afternoon to tell me the windows were ready.

From the moment I walked into their shop, I knew I was in the right place.  There were two people behind the counter, one whom I assume was managing the business and the other who did the installation.  Both were friendly and helpful, told me that the mirror I needed could be made and installed quickly, and quoted me a very good price.  The installer came to my condo right away to take the measurements.  This was a Saturday and I was told they could have the mirror done by Wed.  But in fact they called me on Monday to let me know the mirror was ready.  The installation took about 10 minutes and the mirror looks great.  I couldn't be more pleased with the quality and the price.

They promised delivery in two weeks and delivered in one.  Because the table  was bent, we   noticed, after they left, that the installation was imperfect.  They came back the  same day and fixed it.  It was a pleasure to do business  with them.

I was very happy with Prime Glass & Mirror from start to finish.  We wanted to install a mirror in a small room on the 3rd floor of our house.  I dropped in to Prime Glass and talked to Paul.   After explaining what I needed, Paul told me he'd need to come look at the space to see how big of a mirror could fit up our stairs.  He came the next day, and called later that day with a price quote.   After thinking about it a few days, I changed my mind about the exact size and placement of the mirror.  I called Paul again, and changing my order was no problem.  They were able to custom cut a mirror to any size we needed.  He re-figured the quote, and was able to schedule the installation for Monday the following week.  They gave me a 9am appointment, but the crew was here at 8:45am and the mirror was up by 9:03.  The whole thing was very easy, and I got exactly what I wanted.  We bought a 36"x58" plain mirror for $325, including delivery and installation.  I didn't get a quote anywhere else to compare, but we felt the price was very reasonable.

I think they're just good all around. They know what they're doing, that's the most important thing. I've been happy and I thought the price was very reasonable for what they did. It wasn't just a rectangle one, its shaped like a banana. Its really curved all over, there wasn't a straight edge on it. Its great.

It went great.  Prime Glass was professional, responsive, and prompt.  We were very happy with the service they provided and would recommend them.  The glass door they provided was of very good quality.

Three years later and the shower door is still in excellent condition.  Glass is still performing as promised, with no fogging, streaking or mildew.  Slider tracks are in perfect condition.  
We will return to Prime Glass for a second bathroom shower enclosure in the coming year.

Everything was as it was supposed to be: right size, on time, fair price, pleasant people.

came promptly when I called and measured and gave estimate -- work was done relatively quickly -- installation of the glass was very easy and well done -- the first installer put the new screen in wrong and bent the frame -- when I called they came, took a quick look and immediately offered to make a new screen - this was done and installed and now its fine -- it seems the problem was that the window was not quite square so adjustments to the measurements were needed to get a correct fit. They are polite and efficient.
my only issue was that at the time of the initial estimate I asked them to look at the screen on my patio door, they told me it needed to be replaced and the cost was substantial -- I subsequently had my contractor look at it and he was able to adjust it to correct the problem (a gap at the close end) and its absolutely fine. I dont understand why they didnt suggest this quick and easy fix.

Prime Glass was one of two companies I received estimates from. Tom was friendly and very knowledgeable. He took time to explain the pros and cons of brackets versus a slim line panel. Previously I knew only about the installation of brackets for a "frame-less" shower and am very happy I followed Tom's advice for an alternative in my particular shower. It looks fabulous!

I had about five quotes for the mirror and Prime Glass and Mirror were in the middle. I had originally called and they gave me a quote over the phone but I called back a week later with a question about the wall not being entirely straight and was concerned if that would affect the installation. They sent someone over to look and measure within the next couple of days and although he said he would have to make some alterations on how to hang the mirror, the price stayed the same.



It took about a week for the install. My husband was here on the day and said the two guys who came were very polite and efficient and the process was quick and easy.



We love our new mirror - it really finishes off a newly remodeled bathroom.

The condominium building my client lives in has so many rules for contractors regarding registration, insurance, bringing in and transporting equipment, etc. Prime Glass and Mirror called the management of the condo the day before they came to do the work to ensure they had received their proof of insurance because they wanted to ensure the work would begin as scheduled, and the customer would not be inconvenienced. They even arrived about 20 minutes early, but waited until the exact time we had scheduled to begin the work.

They sent out two well-experienced gentlemen for the job. They took great pride in their appearance, were very clean cut, and were very well put together. They put on booties as soon as they walked in the door, brought a dust pan and broom, and swept up every day. They brought a drop cloth to cover the floor and clothing to ensure nothing would get dust or debris on it, and they put a cloth down to put the screws on. This was on the inside of a closet, so needless to say, they were just impeccable. Both gentlemen had been with the company for a long time. They were both soft spoken, professional, and worked well together.

They took all the broken glass with them, and also took pictures and thorough measurements of the stationary door to ensure the replacement glass would be of the same quality as the original. When they came back the second time to replace the glass on the door, one of the gentleman tested the additional mirrors and glass in the condo to make sure they weren't in jeopardy of breaking or falling. They cleaned and polished both mirrors before they left, and there was no detail left unturned. Both in removing the broken glass, and bringing in the replacement glass, they wrapped and moved everything as if they were moving their own furniture in their own house. They treated her house and possessions like they would treat their own. Within a week, the work was complete and the mirror on the door was replaced with the same quality glass.

A week or so after everything was said and done, the manager personally called me to make sure I was satisfied. From start to finish the experience was phenomenal, and the work was worth double what they charged. Lots of other contractors charge additional fees for traveling into Boston, for parking, etc. and with them, they charged us exactly what they said they would. It really was an extraordinary fairy-tale like experience. If I could give them an A+ I would. I have already recommended them to other people.

Prime Glass was able to come soon after I called, charged a reasonable price and did quick, quality work. I would definitely recommend them.

We are still waiting for the sliding glass door to be delivered but Prime Glass has been very professional and their price was in line with other companies. We choose them because they were the quickest to respond and were the most professional of the compaines that we contacted.
