I had tried to replace the burners on my 10 year old Weber Genesis myself but was unsuccessful. Due to family medical issues, I had to leave the grill sit for 18 months. Zak just left here, and he had it up and running in no time. Very knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend Mr. Grill to anyone.

It went fine. I liked Chris and he was able to pinpoint the issue quickly, and fix it.

I believe most people would agree we live in a throw-away society. This is especially true for electronics and gas grills. Where you can normally get 5 -10 years from electronics this is usually not true for grills because grills are outside and exposed to the elements. It can be as short as 2 - 3 years. This was my case when my grill, made by a reputable manufacturer, started showing signs of wear just short of three years from purchase. Knobs were not working, one burner was not firing and the starter was inconsistent, sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't. In frustration I did a search for "Grill Repairs" on Angies List and a company named Mr. Grill came up. I contacted and the owner Chris reached out to me and set up an appointment. The technician came and went right to work and in the end I could not be happier. Everything was fixed and was running as if brand new. I would not say the Grill looked like it just came out of the showroom but it was pretty close. So if your grill is looking tired reach out to them, you will be glad you did.

I can't speak to Chris's work on grills, but his knife and tool sharpening was very good. He will pick up and deliver, but he offers a discount price if you come to his home - on a quiet side street in Watertown, with plenty of parking - where he does the work while you wait. On the strength of this work, I would recommend him for sharpening without reservation.

Great service and job well done

Initially, a seemingly competent business, with prompt clean work ...but when it came time for further repairs and warranty service...it became clear that the pricing was inconsistent and constlanly changing. Efforts to explain these random pricing fell on deaf ears and a so-called compromise was to cut the total invoice by a few bucks...I'd recommend a different grill service.

Mr. Grill was able to come out a little over a week after I contacted them in June. I believe they pushed the date on me once. When they finally did come out, I had a couple of questions about the cleaning so reached out to Chris to ask whether my grill was supposed to be greasy to the touch and asked whether they could work on cleaning up the grease stain they left on my patio. Chris, the owner, said that the grill is not supposed to have a greasy residue and maybe his guy forgot to rinse it off at the end. Chris said that he would come to make it right and to also work on the grease stain on my patio that they created. After following up with him a few times he finally came out...1 month later after the stain had completely set into my patio and I had to finish cleaning the grill myself to use it over the summer. The last I heard from Chris, he said "I worked on the area with a degreaser and power washer. Looks like there’s still a stain. Let me see what else I can do and talk to some experts." He never followed up again except to send the invoice a couple more times (with stickers threatening collection). Of course, replacing the stone is going to cost me significantly more than the cost of his services, so I wouldn't rely on any of his claims of insurance, or a desire by Chris to make it right, etc... Also, I've used a gas gauge on my grill for several years without any troubles. After Mr. Grill came out it never worked again.

Try did a great job cleaning the grill! Good thing to do every few years to get longevity out of the grill.

He was quite prompt in responding to my initial inquiry about his service, as well as his follow-up visit at my home to complete the repair.  He satisfactorily completed the task at a reasonable price.

Chris, the owner, did a really nice job. He is very attentive, detail focused. The grill looks like new. We did have some minor communications issues at first but given how customer-service focused Chris is, I think this was just an exception, especially as this is Mr Grill's busy season, each of us was on vacation for a bit, etc. But once we connected and he came and understood what was needed, everything worked out great. I was a bit hesitant to invest in this slightly neglected 12+ year old Weber grill, but Chris advised me (correctly I believe) that it was still worth it and would be less than purchasing a new, and most likely inferior, grill.

The gentleman arrived promptly (working on a holiday), worked carefully and efficiently. He checked the cost with us before starting the repair, showed us the damage he needed to repair and completed the task quickly. 
We have worked with him before, so we return to him with great faith in his ability and professionalism.

I was impressed with the care and thoroughness of the cleaning.  Basically disassembled the grill and cleaned every inch with water, solvents, power grinders, brushes, and elbow grease.

They are miracle workers! My dad torched my grill and I really thought it was beyond repair.  (He torched it in the fall and I let it sit all winter.  It was disgusting.)  They worked wonders!  For $175 they saved my grill.  I wish I had taken before and after pictures.  Really incredible!  I would highly recommend them if your grill needs some TLC!

Very prompt response and provided accurate quote. Entire process lasted a few hours and the grills were spotless/like new. Received a follow up email to make sure I was satisfied and I noticed Mr. Grill also does mobile knife sharpening. Again, very prompt response and Christopher came out and did a terrific job with the knives - good as new!

The entire process went well. We scheduled the tasks and dates via email. The technician who came was friendly and did a really good job. They cleaned it far better than I could have. They reported that the burner was in good shape so no repairs or replacements were needed.

Exceptional service! I contacted them via Angie's List late one evening. We e-mailed back and forth the next morning through Angie's List messaging service. I asked if they had any availability to fix the grill within a two day time window, and they were very accommodating. They gave me a price quote and showed up the same day. Chris asked me a few questions about the grill, and then told me it would take 20 mins. He completed the repair, showed me that the each burner was heating fully and the grill was heating to 540 degrees, he explained what was causing the problem and what he did to fix it. He even took the time to clean the dust and spider webs from off the racks.

Went very well. They returned my initial email within 24 hours and we scheduled a service call.
The only hiccups were that they weren't clear about when they were coming out to finish the service. I was about to reply with a and quot;when will you be hereand quot; email when I saw the service truck pull up :)
The parts prices are in the same ballpark as online prices. The labor isn't all that cheap - though for two trips out, it's not too bad.

I submitted a service request on Mr Grill's web site late Thursday night, and had an e-mail response early the next morning, saying they had an opening and could come that day... I would not need to be there as they could come into the back yard to fix the grill, and would invoice by e-mail when done.
We had a few e-mail exchanges to understand and bound the likely cost of service and parts and agree on a few details.
Price came in under what I was prepared for (the burner didn't need replacing - spiderwebs in the burners which cause the gas flow to travel back towards the knob and not out into the burner. I've dealt with spiders before with other grills but had never seen the big jet of flames, just reduced flow).
Conclusion: Fast. Efficient. Timely. Professional. Good followup communication, and ease of payment online from a link in the e-mail invoice.
What more could you want?

They were very prompt and they did an excellent work. They cleaned up after themselves.
