It all started OK. He showed up when he said he was going to and did all of the prep work, tore up old driveway and hauled it away, at this time my wife gave him half payment. He came back and laid down the gravel base. It was a Friday and his laborers were drinking on the job. When he came back to put down the binder he asked me for half payment. I was wasn't aware my wife had already paid the deposit. He left that day and a month has gone by. After repeated calls his phones were disconnected and I haven't heard from him. While he was doing the job he backed one of his trucks over some drainage pipes that were in the ground, crushing them. He said he would fix but all he did was cover with dirt. I had to pay someone else to redo it right. DON'T HIRE HIM, DON'T EVER PAY HIM IN ADVANCE, HE WON'T FINISH THE JOB.
