I came home the Sunday after the 4th of July to find the central fire alarm box in our building beeping and the trouble light was on (this happens every once in a while). I called Markarian, who had installed it, and they told me what to do to silence it until they could come out in the morning. I still couldn't get it to stop beeping so I called and asked if he could come out. He came the Sunday after the 4th at 7:30 pm - he was very nice, patient and accommodating and he made it stop beeping and we made an appointment to check out the entire system in the next couple of weeks.

Very well. A new lighting design and installation was required in each location.

They fit me in quickly, arrived promptly, and did a great job.

Sebastian, the electrician, is very courteous, responsive, responsible and professional. He worked carefully to make sure everything is working well. Also, the scheduling process was very smooth. I only waited a couple days to get my doorbell installed. I will choose this provider if I have other projects in future.

A tree fell on my power line on Monday. I went on Angie's List and had someone from Markarian Electric here on Tuesday to look at the job and by Tuesday night I had an estimate. I talked to Will in the office on Wednesday, who let me know this was an emergency I could cut through the regular paper work pay over the phone and the guys would come that afternoon. They came replaced the broken conduit and new line all was well. I still need Eversource to come and town inspection but we have power

VERY well. They are professional. They communicated clearly, were responsive both via email and by phone. They explained things clearly and directly. They were friendly and personable. I will 100% hire them again for more electrical work. The were prompt in getting back to me when I had repeated questions setting up the quote and the timing of their visit. They sent a nice email reminder of the appointment. They were punctual in arriving and finished the work more quickly than expected.

Jason came to take a look at our house which had a number of ancient two-pronged outlets still installed. I was expecting a much larger job, but it turned out that all but one had ground, and were safe to convert to a three-pronged outlet. The work was done quite promptly and to our satisfaction.

I had a great experience with this company. I got a good estimate and work completed shortly after. There are a lot of shady contractors in the area who I’ve made the mistake of hiring to save a little money, but the prices I was quoted by this company are in line with them and they have a highly professional team who stands by their work. I’d highly recommend this company for anyone in the area looking for fair priced and exceptional electrical work.

Will call to follow up on my quote request through the Angie's List platform. We scheduled a time and a week out, but call a couple of days early after another appointment cancelled. The electrician, Sebastian, was prompt and courteous. We walk through the items I wanted done. He was patient and careful to understand the full scope of the job. Sebastian picked up the materials and worked for a few hours and left the space nice and clean. I would definitely recommend Markarian Electric.

Very well, except for the price. Technicians were prompt, polite, and worked neatly and efficiently. I have no complaints at all concerning them.

Overall, very good. The electrician (Jason) was on time and very professional. He did everything asked. He gave helpful insight into other issues we’ve noticed. I’m very happy with the service. As for price, I’m sure it’s on par with other electricians. It just feels like a lot; but I don’t feel cheated in any way. I would definitely rehire again.

Great experience. Jason came round to discuss the project and quote the work. Once we decided to go ahead, our job was promptly scheduled for two weeks later. On the day, Jason and his team arrived right on time and got to work. They did a great job, kept me posted with progress, and did a walkthrough afterwards to discuss minor points. Will use again.

We had to replace a bedroom lighting fixture and wanted it done correctly. We called Markarian and they were able to do the work that day! It was great to not have to wait for an appt and it went smoothly and was a reasonable price. We will call them again!

Outstanding. A+ job from start to finish. Initial estimate was quickly scheduled and professional. The job was scheduled and done exactly as promised. This was a big project - rewiring a 2-family house (including thorough inspection and service panel upgrade) plus installing two ceiling fans. The workers were so professional, courteous and all-around easy to deal with that it went really smoothly. (Thank you, Sebastian, Camillo and Jason!) These folks really are experts. They also made sure to minimize the holes required in walls so that was much less than we anticipated. They constantly cleaned up after working in particular areas, which we appreciated. And it was very easy communicating with the office, as well, for scheduling purposes. We are totally satisfied with the work and very happy that we chose Markarian Electric to do this.

I was really impressed with the fact that this company has been around for 20+ years and they do more than just solar. I checked out reviews on other sites like angies list and found 179 positive reviews so I felt comfortable moving forward. The service was prompt and professional and not pushy. The installation was really quick and they went above and beyond for me to get it in as fast as possible so I could qualify for the SREC program. I will definitely be using them again and felt they deserved a 5 start review

Professional and knowledgeable. They came and fixed the problem in one visit.

They arrived on time and fixed the wiring on the central vacuum cover, and they got the GFI outlet in the kitchen working, but they said they just took the cover off and looked at it and put the cover back on. They charged me $125 for 1/2 of work and said it would cost an additional $145 to replace the outlet. I was told in advance that the $125 covered up to 1 hour of work, so I was not happy that they wanted an additional $145. The outlet was not working again 4 days later, so I called them again. Spoke to one person and they confirmed that the $125 covered up to 1 hour of work. Spoke to another person and they said it would be an additional $145. I stopped payment on the check and if they want to get paid, then they can fulfill what I was originally told. Still waiting....

I've got a old house with questionable DIY electrical work in the walls and ceilings. Markarian has done quite a bit of work in the house, and they're always prompt, polite, professional - and they always leave a clean work site behind. Their prices are a bit on the high side, but I'll happily take it in exchange for their reliability and the quality of work they do.

It is very sad... I had used Markarian Electric for all my electric and other wiring needs at my home and our company, and I found them professional, on time, responsive, and very customer oriented. When I just recently called again for another job, I was told that there is now a process in place that will require an estimate, to be scheduled 1 week out, then after the estimate, I will receive a quote, and after I ok the quote, the work is to be scheduled, currently about 4 weeks out. Nothing left of responsive, customer oriented or professional.

Great. We called Friday night in a panic and Dan and Jonathan arrived at exactly at 1:00 the next day. They spent several hours removing the old TV, running new cables in the wall, and unpacking and installing the new TV and speaker system. They stayed until every detail was checked out - remotes working, channel selection as expected, everything cleaned up spotless. They even took our Christmas tree for us, just to be helpful.

The fellow who came to do the estimate was friendly and polite. The final bid came in consistent with what we were quoted by other contractors. Company seemed competent. But I was a little disappointed as the walk-through was brief and the estimator asked few questions and offered less feedback than other contractors we'd met. Despite this, the written estimate captured our requirements accurately. So, apparently their estimator is a quick study. Decided to go with someone else. But, I'm certain Markarian would have done a fine job at a reasonable cost. Would definitely consider them for future work. Pleasant experience.

The scheduler was rude, refused to even attempt to schedule an ESTIMATE / inspection and couldn't tell me when he might know more.

This is the second time we have hired this firm. Both experiences have been exceptional and would highly recommend this company.

We are very pleased with the work. The technicians were very professional and courteous, they arrived on time, they took care to protect the furniture/floor around the work area, and they delivered a job well done.
