 + 0 moreFred truly cares about his work. All the valves are clearly marked, and evenly spaced. It looks very nice and makes the system easier to service. He always takes the time to do the job right and while perhaps it might be a little bit more money than others, it is more than worth it.
Description of Work: This was my fourth time using EC Shaw for my heating needs. We had used them to replace two huge (steam) boilers in our 50 unit condo previously and I really appreciated his dedication to show us trustees how things worked and his attention to detail. For that reason we hired him to replace another boiler (oil, water heat) when we first moved, and recently we used him to remove a very old oil boiler and tank, and install a high efficiency multi-zone gas boiler. We have also used Fred's services to clean the boiler every year and he worked with us to recommend someone for central air during the recent installation. He worked very well with painters, electricians, cooling people and helped get my job done with the estimate and timeline established.

 + -1 moreJust do not use them. They will rip you off. I had an A/C problem, he didn't fix the problem and just oiled something. He didn't fix anything so I paid for nothing.
Description of Work: They basically came out and did nothing and charged me $150.00.

 + -1 moreThis is a company we really depend on in order to service the entire heating needs of our 20 condominium complex. They are always on time, efficient and very clean. I honestly wouldn t know what to do if I hadn t found them. They are honest and their pricing is fantastic.
Description of Work: They replaced a 40 foot boiler extension pipe which was leaking in our condo's basement by digging out and discarding the old one. They then patched in the cement flooring and replaced a corroded boiler plate in my 20 condominium sized building.
