The electricians were very efficient and professional. My only negative experience was the difficulty contacting the company by phone. They use an answering service and after leaving messages on several days that resulted in calls back with phone messages when I was unavailable, I tried using email through Angie's List. That worked much better and within a short time we came to a mutually-convenient appointment time. The final price seemed a bit high, but given two visits and work in the workshop, it does not seem unreasonable. This was the first time I had used D & R, but I would consider using them again.
Excellent. Person on the phone was pleasant, courteous and responsive to my need for a particular date and time for the service.
Service men (2) arrived at the specified time with stepladder, replacement unit, and took kit. Quickly replaced the defective smoke detector with a more appropriate unit than we had purchased, explaining the advantages, and suggested returning ours for a refund, which we did. Gave excellent advice on our questions about the electrical outlets, leading to the suggestion of not proceeding with any work on that score at present, with which we agreed. In all, a brief and very productive visit. The men were pleasant to interact with, highly professional, and interested in giving their best advice as opposed to promoting unnecessary additional service. A very good experience, and certainly a company I would use again.
