They took a long time getting it done and delivered. It seems they have limited production bandwidth. Almost everything is made to order, they dont have an inventory to rapidly service orders, even of what might be common components. It might be good to think about a modular building setup, where customers could pick from pre-made sizes so they can inventory shelving and pre-drill shelves. When the item was late, they never called to let me know they were running behind schedule. When I called to complain, they expressed irritation. The bookshelf was finally delivered. Overall it is sturdy and solid. The build quality is good but not excellent. The fit and finish could be tighter. The unit is punch stapled to hold it together, rather than with countersunk screws, which was disappointing. It is better than I could make myself, but for the price I expected a little higher quality. That said, it is sturdy and solid wood, so it will work for my needs. Based on my friends' strong recommendation and the desire to support local business I want to use this business again. Hopefully the delivery time next build will not be as prolonged.
