My fiancé asked for a quote for repair and or new generator. We had got two quotes already and the diagnostics had already been done by other companies all confirming the same part was broken. South Coast Generators came out to get us a quote and even had written on their scope of work for the day what was broken and that we wanted JUST a quote. We got the quote for the repairs and to get a new generator, but went with another company due to the price. Two weeks later we got a bill for just under $500, mins you, this was just for a quote. There website says FREE quotes and that is false advertising. For anyone looking for repairs/new generators and looking for a quote, there are many many companies out there doing that for FREE (meaning no money) unlike South Coast Generators FREE definition.

Very well. Bob, the technician, was thoroughly familiar with the generator and switching equipment and identified the problem readily, fixed it with a battery he had on hand, and provided necessary preventive maintenance. A complete, competently and timely done service call. In our first contact, the pleasant dispatcher provided a detailed, helpful schedule of the costs we should anticipate and gave us an accurate prediction of the date and time Bob would arrive. After completing the work, Bob gave a short briefing on the "care and feeding" of our system. It has been testing itself on schedule since last month and we have a strong sense it will be reliable for the future. A manager named Jeff answered a query we had on the invoice and, in doing so, reflected this firm's sound, sensible business practices and its responsiveness.

I’m glad I went with them. It was a recommended by a plumber I knew. I have had no issues. What I really like about them is that they were prompt. They’re efficient and they’re big so you are not relying on just one person to help you out. They have a whole sled of vehicle. They have a whole cadre of people that were better like specialist. We have natural gas there. The guy that came to do the natural gas hook up actually works for the gas company as a full time job. This is a part time thing for him. When he came out to do the natural gas hook up, he was full of information. He told us to call the gas company and get a new bigger meter put on. It’s a service provided by the gas the company. We don’t have to pay for it. He knew everything to tell us what to do.  I was very impressed because they really knew their stuff. We were lucky because we got really good people. They were clean. They did what they said they were going to do and they did it. They gave very good information and advice. Their electrician passed the electrical inspection in Brewster on the first try. The electrical inspector in Brewster is really tough. They were outstanding. I kept a service contract with them. I was very pleased with their work so I continued with the service contract. Twice a year, they come out, they tune it all up and change the oil. I haven’t had it yet because my generator is new and it had a six-month warranty on it. They would come out for free anytime. I’m actually in the process of scheduling it for the first and sign up for a new contract. I would usually recommend them.
