Everything was excellent.  John came out the next day and gave me a fair estimate for the work I knew needed to be done.  John was very nice and professional.  He dismantled old chimney, as it was past the point of repair. He replaced the flashing free of charge just done by the roofers a few months prior because it was not up to his standards after he inspected it up close.  The entire chimney was rebuilt with new bricks. The design and workmanship was excellent.  A new stainless steel cap and flue was installed.  John had to set up extensive staging and took care not to damage the new roof that was just installed.  Everything was clean and neat after he was done.  The entire project took three days.  I was very happy with the work, and I will be using John for maintenance for as long as I own the home.

Serviceman arrived on time, as always. He performed the services in a timely and very professional manner. He was very thorough and concientious in his work. I have used Absolute for many years as I value the quality of their work. They are A-1!

We had been getting a strong smell of oil fumes in the house and were experiencing headaches. Contacted Absolute on a Friday and explained the problem. He came the next morning - cleaned the chiminey and replaced and sealed a rotted pipe. Told us the problem appeared to be fumes escaping around the fireplace insert that we had in our living room. Suggested that we remove it, put the old damper that we had in storage back in, and seal it.  He came back the same day we had the insert removed and replaced and sealed the damper. No extra charge. The smell is gone.  Can't beat that for service or price.

The installation went without a hitch, finished in a half day.

They are very good. They are very personable and go above and beyond the call of duty. I asked for a specific request for a used pettet stove and he got one for me a couple weeks later.

I got a visit and rough estimate within a few days of calling.  John had to order the cap and said he'd set up an appointment as soon as it came in.  I got my written estimate in the mail 2 days later and it was substantially less than the "ballpark" he had mentioned earlier.  I sent in a 50% deposit and John ordered the cap.  About 10 days later he called to set up the installation date for a couple of days later.  I got home from work that day and everything was completed perfectly.  I'm very happy with the service.

We had called other places, and had quotes that ran around $5000.00 to do the work (we had originally called for cleanings, and found out the bad news that all three flues were shot). In our sticker shock, we panicked and started calling around. John was responsive, and provided an extremely reasonable price when compared to the competition. He was always on time, and courteous. This guy runs the type of business you can trust -- quality work, excellent prices, and you get the feeling you trust him. Will have him sweep every year. He's also certified, which provided some comfort.

We agreed on 50% to start. John called two days after I put check in the mail & scheduled for that weekend. He came, with his helpers, exactly when he said he would. Introduced me to his helpers by name. They set up quickly, put drop cloths down all over the area where they were walking & working. Worked efficiently removing & replacing the liner, sealing & capping the chimney. They finished ahead of schedule, and neat as a pin.
