Communication thru the entire process was excellent. The installers (3) arrived on time. They introduced themselves and were very professional. The installation took approximately 6 to 7 hours and they worked continually during this time. The installation went without any problems. At the completion of the installation all of the replaced windows and debris were removed. I am very pleased with the quality of the windows and the finish work performed by the installers was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend the Power Group to anyone for the installation of windows.

I set out to obtain estimates for a new roof from 5 roofing companies on Angie's List and came across PHR. Assuming that their generally positive ratings on the site meant they were legitimate, I scheduled the estimate appointment. From the very first second I spoke to these guys, you can tell they are a 100% sales organization. As I was talking to the scheduler person, I could just imagine him sitting in a huge cube farm wearing a headset and reading from a script. I almost cut it off right there, but then thought "hey, Angie's List had good ratings for them, so have some patience." The day of the appointment, they called and said the estimator would be 3 hours late. When he finally got there I told him I needed to leave in an hour given he was late and I had an appointment that I clearly explained to the schedule. He told me that he "couldn't be late because he just got the call to come over from dispatch 30 minutes ago." He also kept asking where my wife was. Again, I almost asked him to leave on the spot, but thought "have some patience." The process was agonizing. He dragged it out for 3 hours pointing to bogus evidence of moisture and heat damage, venting issues, complications for the installation, etc. He also tried this annoying bit about how awful the roofing industry is and tried to really scare us that every roofer is a sleeze, etc. It was a clear trained approach at a setting the stage for pricing -- literally sales 101 from YouTube. We couldn't get him to leave. Spent over an hour showing me on the iPad nonsense about the company, it's self-testimonial accolades, and the organizations it donates to. I kept reminding him that I had to leave and he kept pushing say that he just couldn't go yet because wasn't done. I really wanted to kick him out and forcefully, but ended up feeling bad for the kid who obviously is getting paid by the quote. I begrudgingly let him finish his awful pitch and awaited the quote. It was literally double the other 4 quotes I got, that were, by the way, only a couple thousand off of each other. He wouldn't leave me a detailed estimate and instead wrote down a number on a piece of paper. I asked him if he'd be sending me more details about what was included, the process, the warranty, etc. He acted like he had never been asked that before and that all I needed was the final number. I told him that was going to make it impossible to make any form of decision and it was time go. As I was trying to get him out of the house, he started to offer discounts if I signed up on the spot and if I would allow a testimonial quote when done. I still could not get this kid out of my house and had to get very very assertive. BUT, none of the above even comes close to the final reason to NEVER CALL THIS COMPANY. A week later I received a letter in the mail from PHR stating that because I called them for a quote, they gave all of my information to pre-screen credit and insurance sales offer and the only way to stop all the calls and emails would be to file an opt out status on OptOutPrescreen.com. I get 3-4 voicemails a day now about mortgages and insurance. Nonstop. What a joke. I am actually a little surprised any of the positive reviews above can be possible and now question how valid Angie's List ratings really are. But, not anyone's fault but my own. Please do your research and stick with local service providers that are referred to you by people you know. I'm embarrassed that I didn't recognize the sham I walked into.

Overall, a good experience. But replacing windows doesn't feel very rewarding due to the cost. Sales pitch was rather long and painful, but informative. A "hardish" sell with the typical "if you commit now, we can give you this discounted price" which is such a sad practice. We've sat through these before and had heard good things about them, so we fell for it. Price wasn't as astronomical as Andersen, but still painfully expensive. Still wondering if we overpaid. Customer service was good, as were the installers. Came with a crew of four and banged out all 19 windows in about 5 hours. Checked in regularly and were very open to answering questions, etc. Windows seem well built, but not a much of a difference from Castle, Harvey, etc. If you want to pay extra for good customer service and follow-up, then go for it.

Excellent. roof came out great. During the original visit by the rep he pointed out many things other companies did not mention including req to get roof to code. Work was done quickly and follow u inspection was thorough

We were stopped by a rep at BJs while shopping and he caught us in a good mood. So we took his info and set up an appointment. Our roof was structurally fine, but we just bought our house and the shingles were an eyesore. A rep came to our home when it was dark as it was Winter time and spent probably a 30min. outside our home in the rain, mind you, assessing our roof situation. He was not pushy in any way. We even fed our rep, Greg, as it was about 8pm during his assessment and we were kind of holding off dinner. We just had enough. He was so lovely to chat with! He did give us a high estimate which really shocked us at first. But we wanted to find out the REAL estimate. The face we didn't have to pay anything until about a month later? Awesome. The fact we could do this in an easy loan payment? Cool! OH! And the shed roof was also an eyesore, so they included that, too, in the price. Then the real estimate came in and it was far less. Yippee! We were communicated with alot in the process. Guys showed up for work by 7:30am on a Monday...btw: We just had a foot of snow drop 4 days prior......they were still going to work. Amazing! Dumpster showed up on the Friday before the work was to be done on Monday. We were very happy that they placed the dumpster and all supplies to the far end of our driveway, so we could still park our cars in our garage bays! So, the weekend was worry free! The guys who worked were efficient, polite, hardworking and professional. 2 caps of our deck fence got damaged in their work and they replaced them at no additional cost to us. Assessor, Dustin, came out to take a look...yet another night in the dark. Super informative and really wanting to know how they did as a company providing a service vs. just the work. He was curious about each person we spoke with on this project. We had also decided to do the insulation part of the package they offered. Our home only has one zone for temperature, so the 2nd floor was important. 30min. after the insulation job was done, we noticed a difference in temp. So far, it has been amazing to work with this company.

Overall, the work that was completed was good. Before we started the job, we had two men come and give a three hour presentation as to why Power is the best company to replace our roof. They would not just give us a bottom line for the cost. We kept going around and around, if we signed today it would cost one amount, or there was a benefit if we did a survey, etc. All I wanted was the total cost, no games. There were many different people that came to support the project, which made it confusing as to which person did what! They were all very nice and professional, but there were too many of them! They worked on the roof and completed the job quickly and did an ok job cleaning up afterwards.They did cut a cable wire on the roof after being told we needed this wire. We then needed to get Verizon here to fix what was cut. They told us to give them the bill and they would send us the amount in a charge card. We have not received it as of yet. Four months later, after a fall storm, our brand new roof leaked in two places! They came right out and checked our leak and had a crew here to fix it within a few days. Then four weeks later, they repainted the spot where the water leaked on our ceiling. It was so upsetting that my new roof leaked after the first storm!

Everything went great! Power Home Remodeling had done work on my rental property previously. They replaced my roof, gutters, windows and doors. We were so happy with everything that we had them out to insulate the attic and replace the front door on our new home. They showed up on time we very professional and courteous. They were fast, but thorough and the clean up was impeccable. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking to have any work done on their home.

The company spent over 3 hours on a sales call selling roofing to my 94 year old mother-in-law. The quotation was guaranteed for $31,000 (but could be lower) for a job that should not cost more than $10,000. This type of selling and trying to take advantage of an elderly person is both unprofessional and unethical.

PRHG did a great job from the initial sales visit through the planning of the install, performing the work and following up to make sure that the job was performed satisfactorily. Power was extremely professional, patient and knowledgeable throughout the process and provided timely and thorough responses to all of our questions. Their products and people are top notch. Would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for home remodeling work.

We had great difficulty getting them to fulfill the obligations of the contract. The job did get completed and the work was done okay, but they required constant supervision and my roof is still wavy.

I now understand why people confess to crimes they didn't commit just to get out of the interrogation. That was pretty much the feeling of the experience. They could improve their services by having a shorter initial estimate. Seriously it took five hours. The sales people should not lie about what you will be getting. He offered us more shudders saying there'd be no charge, and then when the guy comes out to do the measuring he tells us 120 dollars a pair. He said it didn't matter whether we did the windows first or not, or even if someone else did the windows, they would come back and re-cap them. There were just a few different things that he said that when it came down to it were not true. He quoted us two to four days, the contract said two to five days, and the guy comes out and says ten days. That's why we chose them was for the short time frame. It would have been nice if he hadn't lied about things. I would say high pressure and deceptive sales tactics.

The initial sales quote was beyond long. It was from 7 PM until midnight before the guy left, and he promised things that we never got. Very high pressure and deceptive sales tactics. The actual work they did, the people that came and sided it, they did a really nice job. There was damage to our deck that only got half finished with repairs. They were a lot more expensive than other people.

Pushy solicitation. Called 90 minutes before appointment to request to come 30 minutes early since sales person was in my area. I agreed, rushed around to prepare for the visit. Did not show. I called and phone reps were disrespectful when I complained.

All went very well. Crew that did work was prompt and worked diligently. Personal dealings with crew members and managers was very professional. Work done was likewise very good. Cleanup thorough.

The job was completed in one day. Very professional work was performed. All representatives of Power Remodeling were very friendly and professional.

A rep at BJs approached me about home improvements, and while there were many warning signs in the early stages of the experience, we do need a new roof. The rep assured me that receiving an estimate would be "quick" and the Power Home employee would walk around our house and leave the information for us to look over. When the young man arrived, right away he insisted on coming inside for a "quick" overview. I was up front and said we wouldn't be committing to anything that night and we were only interested in an estimate. This guy would NOT leave our home. We tried to be patient and allow him to do his presentation, but he kept putting off giving us the actual estimate. When he finally got to #s, the amount was 20k higher than other estimates, and then he spent another hour coming down from the price. We kept telling him that it didn't matter, and we were not interested in signing anything. We repeatedly said, "okay, thanks, we'll think it over," but he made excuses to hang around longer -- he asked to use the bathroom three times, asked personal questions, asked to see the rest of our house. Finally, after he was at our house for over 2 hours, we told him he had to leave, or we would call the police. We realize we let him carry on way too long, but were caught off guard. Overall, it was an awful experience.

The young adults they have working for them are very nice but are definitely looking to get a nice big commission check. Quoting over $50K for siding?? Come on.

Very fast and professional with excellent quality. You get what you pay for, even though it cost wayy more than necessary for a multifamily rental property.

The project went as planned and solved not only the deteriorating roof issue but also insulation and attic/roof ventilation issues. Power was very accommodating to my request to help with installing new insulation between my hip roof and ceilings by removing the the plywood roofing at the eaves. They also agree to install the insulation and air deflectors I provided. They were also very willing to listen to my request to not install vinyl trim board (unsightly to us) at the intersection of the garage roof and recent second story addition if the existing flashing met their standards.
