O'Toole Plumbing

On the coldest night in several years, our bathroom pipes froze. And the day we called in the problem, James came out to our place and did the work. O'Toole Plumbing & Heating is the "go-to" company for our condo's management company (Actionvest), so we had no idea who would come and what kind of service we'd get. James was great and walked us through everything he was doing. He had to use an "ice-breaker" to thaw the frozen pipes. Then since the pipes had burst, he had to isolate the damaged piping, by opening up our ceiling, and cutting and capping the pipes. James pointed out that our unit's bathroom had two walls that were "outside walls", so with the below freezing temperatures, it was not surprising that this would happen. He called our attention to several things that we could do to prevent this from happening again, and discussed what those might look like when the repair job occurred. (Since this was a "maintenance call", O'Toole's was just there on behalf of the condo management and could not actually move forward with the repair work.) Clean up was OK. I guess we were so relieved to get it "bandaged" up, cleaning the leftover dust and dirt ourselves didn't matter to me. I am uncertain about the cost, since this is the first time we've had this sort of thing happen to us. James was very helpful and patient.

I have used him to unclog my drains and to replace my garbage disposal. I spent about $50 to unclog the drain. He is nice and pleasant. He comes out when he is supposed to. If you need him for an emergency, he comes out right away or as soon as he can. His price is really good. I would definitely recommend him and I would use him again in the future.
