When it came time to replace our ancient oil burner (circa 1940), we called our current oil supplier, Murphy Fuel, to give us a bid. Shaun Murphy came out to the house and spent time answering our questions on the pros/cons of gas verses oil and told us about a Mass Save rebate program to help off-set the cost of the replacement. The Murphy Fuel bid was competitive and based on our relationship with the company, we asked them to install the new equipment.
On the appointed day, the crew from Murphy Fuel arrived on-time and went to work on the installation. Shaun, Jody and Dana had their work cut out for them removing the old equipment and bringing in the new equipment due to the tight/steep staircase but they managed the process beautifully without a scratch on the walls or equipment. By the end of the day, the new equipment was installed, the old boiler was removed and the basement was left in pristine condition. We also had a follow-up call from Shaun to inform us that he had left the installation instructions and owners manuals tucked above the new unit and to feel free to call if we had any questions in the future.
In all of our encounters with Murphy Fuel, from the technicians who had maintained the ancient equipment, the oil delivery drivers ,the office staff, the heating consultant and the installation team, we have be impressed with every member of this organization and are looking forward to working with them for many years to come.

They come out about once a year for maintenance service. Murphy cleans out the oil burner and check out the system. They are very knowledgeable. I will use them again.

The company has been very good. They came out to drain the water in my boiler. My mother had planted flowers in the yard. I told them not to walk over them or drag their hose over them. They were very good about not hurting my flowers. The company is very good at giving me the bill and not the tenants.

We have used this company for 3 years for annual tune-ups, minor repairs, and for oil delivery. They have always been on time, friendly, and professional. They keep the cost to a minimum and do the job right the first time. I also appreciate that I will always get a live person on the phone.
