Michael and Julio did an excellent painting job! The ending price was the same as the proposal had stated. The team were always professional, punctual and reliable and the end clean up was good. They have now completed three jobs for me all with excellent results.

I'm having the ceiling and walls of my front stairway redone wallpaper removed patched and painted. So far the paper has been removed and patching in progress and it looks great already but he tells me he's still working on it . I'm not usually impressed by contractors and delay having work done for that reason but in this case I rest easy that it's going to be OK. If you

Michael and Kevin did a great job on a last minute project fixing numerous cracks in our drywall and ceiling. Both were extremely professional, courteous, prompt, and responsive. I've worked with other contractors before, and this was probably the most positive experience I've had in terms of the quality of work performed and professionalism on the part of the contractor. Highly recommend.

Michael and his team are outstanding.  I cannot say enough positive things about him.  He is professional, communicative, and a talented painter.  He advised us on color choice and sheen, and he executed the work flawlessly.  The rooms are beautiful now and without question I will hire Michael again for future paint jobs.  He left our house immaculate (they even washed the windows!).  I had one minor concern after the job was done (a crack emerged in the ceiling, not Michael's fault) and he called me immediately upon receiving my note and came out the next day to repair it.  I cannot imagine a better customer experience.

We have less than perfect plaster walls and ceilings and Michael did an amazing job patching them.  We did not ask him to paint, but he went the extra mile for us and primed all the patches and even checked our paint for us and let us know it had gone bad, which saved us a lot of time.  I was not home when the job was finished and he even called me the next day to make sure I was happy with the work.  And I was for sure.  I highly recommend him!!!

Excellent work and very prompt. We had a faux finish that was difficult to match, but he tried a few different approaches and came by the house the day before the service to see how it would look. He did a great job of matching it and came back the next day to do the job.



While he was here I asked him to do a few extra things and he was more than happy to take care of everything.

Micheal was at our home promptly at 8 every morning. They were a pleasure to have in our home, and completely trustworthy.
His work was meticulous, and he obviously had great pride in doing things as though it were his own.
His prep work was impressive and thorough.
Michael's work was so good we expanded the job by more than double while he was here.
Ours is a home built in 1840, and we need people who care about this old lady. Our living room is grand again!

Process was smooth as expected. I had used him once before just before thanksgiving and he completed that smaller scale work in one day. He stayed a little longer to be sure the second coat of paint dried to a perfect match. That job was mostly in my son's room and he was careful to move furniture and items back just as they were afterwards.
this more recent time, the work was more scattered about the house and he matched each paint and repaired the walls perfectly while still keeping my house clean. and I realize plaster can often be a messy job. And his assistant brought treats for the golden retreiver! Got to love em.

.We were very pleased with Michael's work He is very professional and very accomodating. There was one area that did not look like he had done which was woodwork, he came right back over and did it. He thought he had doneit he said, but didn't question my opinion. We had had him at a previous time for wallpaper removal, re-wallpapering, painting ceilings and polyurethaning the woodwork. That was a great job, so had him the next time for the jobe just stated, and would have him again

My entire experience with McCarthy painting was exceptional. Michael arrived on time for every appointment we had from the on-site estimate to the last day of the job. He was able to give me an estimate on-the-spot which was important to me because I was looking to select a vendor quickly in order for painting to begin right away. He also did the work himself along with 3 members of his crew.

Before deciding to go with a paint color I originally wanted to match the color to existing paint. Michael stopped by on the scheduled day to take a sample in order to match it. At this time, I decided to select a color from the sample wheel and he was very helpful when I asked for his opinion. He used Benjamin Moore paint which was important to me. By this this point I had decided I wanted to include an additional wall and some trim and this was not a problem for him. The wall required some patching as well and once the work was done, I can't even tell where the holes were; it looks brand-new. On the last day of work I didn't arrive until after they had finished; my home was left in a clean and orderly condition. I was very pleased. I highly recommend Michael. In fact, I will be using his company for some other services after I move into my new home.
