Winterized my sprinkler system.Talked about system update in the spring.

Mark's contracting installed an irrigation system for our gardens when we first moved into this house four years ago.  I called them to schedule a time for them to come out and turn the system on.  I received a call back in a reasonable amount of time and Mark showed up as scheduled and on time.  He was professional and courteous as always, and worked quickly and efficiently.  I can't recall exactly how much it cost in previous years service the system, but I have always felt that the price was reasonable and in line with my expectations.  I've always been impressed with the work that Mark and his team have done, and I would not hesitate to recommend Mark's Contracting to friends or neighbors.

It went fine.  A call to the firm was either answered immediately or they called back in a reasonable timeframe.  Mark came out to look at the job, provide a quote and then either did the work right then (small stuff) or scheduled time for a later date (when more time and equipment needed).  As I indicated above the work was completed efficiently and professionally.  Easy to work with and works on a handshake.

He is very reponsive, professional, and does great work. He has great follow up skills as well.

After contacting Mark for an initial evaluation, we were able to schedule an appointment within a couple of days.  After that I received the propsal within the week and was able to schedule within the next couple of weeks. 

Overall I was very satisfied with the service provided repairing the underground sprinkler system at our house. We bought our house last year, and it became obvious the we had heads that were leaking, not properly set or not functional. I found the company as an "honors" company through Angies List and emailed them on Weds, 7 July 2010. Charlotte responded and set an appointment for Monday 12 July 2010 between 8-12. Donnie and his assistant showed up promptly before 9 AM on the scheduled day and got right to work. Donnie checked with me on all the repairs, changes and head replacements and made recommendations as to improving the system. They replaced most of the heads that had clearly not been replaced/repaired for many years and tested/adjusted the system fully prior to finishing. They cleaned up fully. The work took about 2 solid hours. My only concern was a disconnect between what I was mentally estimating and the final bill. I originally expressed that I had a few leaking heads that needed replacement and asked what I could roughly expect in terms of cost. Charlotte replied that if I have less than 9 zones, it is $85 for the service call not including materials. As I had only 3 operating zones, I roughly guessed between $150-$300. The final bill (well itemized) was $628. As such, I am indicating the cost as N/A, as I feel that my surprise at the cost was as much my problem in terms of expectations as it was the companies. However, regardless of the overall excellent service, I give the company an overall B, based on my overall unpleasant surprise at the overall price.

The experience was top notch. The company returned my call within a couple of days to arrange for Mark to see the site and prepare an estimate. He arrived on time and was very informative and professional. He sent me the quote the next day. I accepted and they scheduled the installation about a week later. Mark and his team arrived on time to install the sprinkler system. Everyone was very professional and knew his job well. The system was installed and tested in one day. Mark explained the operation and control to me in detail and made sure I did not have any questions. Several weeks later I called twice to have adjustments made to the sprinkler heads to cover areas I had not previously specified. Mark's employees showed up promptly and made the changes at no cost. I recommend Mark's Contracting to anyone in the area that they cover. Mark's training in the US Marines shows up clearly in his work and the work of his team.

Mark arrived exactly on time to do maintenance and repairs on my irrigation system. He was very professional, and took time to thoroughly explain my system to me. He suggested putting in a rain sensor to save water, and didn't try any hard sell of items I didn't need.

It went exactly as planned. The system works perfectly, the job was performed on the day promised, and the work was neat and clean. Mark came over a couple of days after the installation and instructed me on how to use the system. Very simple to use.

We had four garden beds dug into our front yard and had begun planting. We soon realized that keeping up with watering along with garden maintenance would be an overwhelming task and got bids from three companies for having a drip irrigation system installed. Mark's was right in the middle. I was impressed with his level of expertise, professionalism, and willingness to take the time to explain things in detail and answer all of my questions. The installation was scheduled for about a week and a half later. I was particularly concerned with making sure that the system was installed and up and running before we left for a two week vacation. The installation was scheduled for a week and a half later. All went well; Mark and his crew were efficient and professional, and the system has worked without a hitch so far.

They are fine. They are fairly easy to schedule.

Mark was very responsive, showed up on time, and went efficiently and professionally about the work. The price was quite reasonable. I was very satisfied with the entire experience.

They haven't actually done that much yet, but they are going to come back in the spring. Their response was quick and it was very easy to work with. They were very courteous and professional too.

A great job overall! Complex irrigation system, multiple zones. Price was fantastic, the best of a few estimates. Mark was very accommodating with my landscaping crew. I had to switch irrigation install date with only 3 days notice because landscapers hadn't finished. The project was tricky - steep hill, ledge, excessive rocks... The appointment was confirmed the day before. The work took longer than expected and Mark and crew returned on a Sunday to complete so my new plantings would have water. Great guy, extremely knowledgeable -- knows his stuff. Also liked how well and professionally he managed his crew. Work ended up being more than original scope and Mark held the price.

They were very responsive to my phone calls, which I had not experienced with other irrigation companies I contacted. They showed up right on time and were very friendly. After they left, however, there was some pretty significant leaking going on outside our building. But when I called Mark's to inform them of the problems, they were quick to respond and fix it.

THEY RETURNED OUR PHONE CALL WITHIN 1 BUSINESS DAY, CAME OUT, FIXED THE PROBLEM AND BILLED A FAIR PRICE. THIS IS TYPICAL FOR HOW THIS CONTRACTOR OPERATES. EXCELLENT SERVICE AND FAIR PRICES.

OUT OF THE THREE I CALLED HE WAS THE ONLY ONE WILLING TO COME OUT TO GIVE THE ESTIMATE FOR A SMALL JOB. HE HAS A VERY NICE AND HELPFUL PERSON WHO ANSWERS THE PHONES. NOT TO MENTION THEY ARE FAST.

MARK WAS PUNCTUAL FOR BOTH THE ESTIMATE AND THE WORK. HIS STAFF IS TOP NOTCH, AND THE QUALITY OF THE INSTALLATION IN TERMS OF BOTH COMPONENTS AND CONSTRUCTION QUALITY WAS FIRST RATE. MARK WAS ABLE TO PERFECTLY LAY OUT THE SPRINKLER SETUP WITHOUT ANY DESIGN BACK AND FORTH. I IMMEDIATELY HIRED THEM TO DO A SECOND PROPERTY I OWN.

HE DID GREAT WORK AND IF WE INSTALL AN IRRIGATION SYSTEM HE IS DOING IT!
