He had done a good job and it was a very satisfying experience. He was personable and had showed up right on time. He was competent and reasonably priced too. I have no complaints at all.

Peter arrived promptly. He immediately set to work. In less than an hour the job was completed.

Mr. Donahue did a great job. Cleaned up after work completed.

He did the work fine. My complaint is that when I called him to get a quote he told me his hourly rate and that he worked alone - I had specifically asked this question. He showed up with 2 guys (though only charged me for one additional person). They appeared to be a friend of his and his grown son. Additional time was spent explaining everything to the son. So, instead of paying $70 per hour I was charged $140. When I reminded him that he told me he worked alone he said that he does for most jobs but that the doorbell required 2 people. I felt I had no choice but to pay him, but will not use him again in the future. I felt our initial phone conversation was misleading since he knew the specifics of the job I was calling him about.

I called on Saturday even though I did not expect a return call until Monday. Peter returned my call promptly within about 30 minutes. He said he would be at the house in a couple of hours. He said his rate is $70/hour. He showed up and repaired the telephone wiring in the house and he did it in an hour, so the final cost was the $70. He is pleasant, prompt, professional, efficient and he knows what he is doing. I will certainly contact him again for telephone or ANY electrical work.

He picked up the chandelier, and took it apart and put it back together again after it was restored. Appltons antiques was very impressed with him. He did excellent work in a very challenging environment (a brick and timber loft hides nothing).
