Don's did an excellent job. Car looked like new.

We got excellent service from Don's, and from Brian Aucoin, the manager. We did not want to use our auto insurance, so went direct to Don's. Brian got us an estimate very quickly and a week or so later we brought the car in. A week later we got it back, and it was as good as new - no evidence of any damage at all. They also did a careful cleaning inside and out, so that the car was cleaner than when we brought it in, much to my wife's pleasure. We have used Don's a few times before, starting many years ago, when we were referred to them by our insurance company. We then used them once or twice more, at least once for non-insurance body repairs (rust damage). However, we have not had need of any body repair services for many years up until this happened, and were happy to see they were still in business and that Brian was still the guy in the front office.

Stopped in to get an estimate on realigning a bent car door.  Brian provided a very straightforward, pragmatic estimate, and proposed to repair (vs. replace) the door on our 10 year old car.  He worked the car in the next morning and they were timely in getting it turned around.  Quality looks solid, door is working again, and  we are all set.  It was a pleasure, and its good  to have a "guy" we trust if we should need body work again.  Thank you!

Great. Don's arranged for the rental car--Enterprise shuttled us between Don's and the rental agency. Brian (at Don's) handled communication with the insurance companies and completed all work as promised and on time. There was no cost to us.

It went well overall, the estimate was accurate. The car was one day late for the pickup which is not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. repair was good. Happy with the service.

Don's was recommended by my Insurance, so I looked it up on Angie's List. It got all A's, so I went with them and definitely would again. Don's evaluated the damage to my car post-accident and said it would probably be higher than the estimate since they couldn't get under the hood. Brain was honest and professional and got back to me when he promised each time. He let me know when the computers were down and work couldn't get done. The cost was indeed higher, but insurance paid most of it. Brian talked to the insurance company, working out the details. Brian even offered to contact the other party's insurance to determine a car rental for me, but it wasn't necessary. The car was done when he estimated. They washed the entire outside of the car, which I hadn't expected. And they even delivered it to my home because I wasn't able to get there before closing. I noticed my license plate wasn't back on, and they said they'd flatten it out for me and asked me to bring the car back one day the following week to put it on. I did, and they put it back on without my having to make an appt. I also noticed my tire was low. Without my even asking, they gauged my tires and inflated the right amount of air. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied.

Overall, it was a sufficiently satisfactory experience. Good work and only "nit-picky" things to obsess about.

After speaking with Brian on the phone, I drove over to get an estimate for removing the paint streaks on our car. Brian wrote up an estimate of approximately $1500 to completely repair the areas, which included replacing panels, repainting, etc. This was more than we really wanted to spend, as we were only looking for a cosmetic fix. He said my other option was to have the paint buffed off, which would cost about $75 and would not address the scratches underneath. After getting another quote elsewhere of $150 to buff the paint off, I decided to take it to Don's both because of the price and the proximity to my home. I called Brian on a Friday and made an appointment for the following Monday morning. He gave me a time by which the car would be done and it was ready as promised. When I picked the car up, I was pleased to see the results. Brian even said it came out better than he had anticipated and it only cost me $40 instead of the quoted $75.
