A great overall experience...from Christine who made the appointment to Mike who performed the work. This is a very professional and responsive company. Mike was exceptional...he came in and quickly diagnosed the problem. He provided a fair quote and then quickly removed a bird's nest sitting in a house vent. He was thorough, quick and very pleasant. He even painted the vent cover screen to match the hose color which was unexpected and greatly appreciated. Mike is a true credit to the company. I would certainly recommend Critter Control to anyone need wildlife removal services. They are a pleasure to work with.

Critter Control was very quick to respond. The process was smooth, they removed the birds right after giving us an estimate that was fairly priced. Would definitely hire them again.

Traps were set; no squirrels trapped; holes were temporarily closed, with recommendation for more permanent work by our own contractor. Warranty for four to five months. Photographs were provided for the work to be done. Planning to do work in a month. Matt has offered to advise our contractor on work, if necessary. Perfect! Matt came over, inspected our roof line and discovered it was completely open. He suggested closing off the open gap below our roof-line with metal cladding, installing two one-way doors in that to let the critters out and setting up traps. The work took a little time to set up (1.5 days) but once done he monitored the traps on a regular basis. The critters departed our walls within about 2 days, and have not returned since.

It was great. Matt responded right away and came over and removed a squirrel nest. Then we had to coordinate timing with the solar installers, who had to fix the chewed wires and reinstall panels. Coordinated so the squirrel guards would be installed the next day. The installer (Adam) was fantastic. Highly recommend these guys!!!!

Great. Critter Control found the entry point, put a one way door so they could leave and not re-enter. After a period of time the hole was patched. No more critters! The service was excellent with the opportunity to ask questions. The responses were informative. Mike was always patient and responded to my calls immediately. It was pleasant working with him.

It went exceptionally well. I'm always skeptical when seeing companies with long strings of only rave reviews, but Critter Control was incredible and fully deserves them. They promptly responded to my initial call, sent me daily status emails regarding what they caught and where things were in the process, and did a very nice job on the repairs. I was particularly impressed in that they quoted me not only the cost of addressing the squirrel problem, but also several other roof and siding-related repairs that I had been needing to get done for a while and would be a problem for me to do myself (such as missing rake edge flashing that required a long metal brake to fabricate). The field manager working with me, Ben, walked me through the items he had identified on the quote and explained the value and need for everything identified - no hard sell to do everything, just his view on what could be considered and why I might need it and why it might not make sense for me.

Critter Control was great. I had raccoons jumping on my roof at night and chewing the rubber portion. Mike came out the day after I called, explained the process and set traps for a week. He caught 3 of them and showed me where they were accessing the roofline. Fortunately they didn't get in the house. Mike was very professional, accessible, and understanding as he explained everything.

The whole thing went very well. Matt was prompt (he may have even been a little early) and he got right to work. He gave a brief overview and then explained each step as he was doing it, just to make sure I was getting it.

After inspecting the entire building for squirrel holes, Matt placed several traps by the hole, and the squirrel was trapped in a day. Then the hole was sealed. Matt had fully explained what he was going to do, which was very helpful for me since I'm not very knowledgable about how to get rid of squirrels. The entire operation went very smoothly. Also, we hired Critter Control of Boston not only because of good reviews, but also because the office manager Christine, who took my initial phone inquiry, explained all procedures and costs very thoroughly. And then she emailed a document that broke down the costs. You can probably find less expensive solutions, but for great service and total professionalism, I recommend Critter Control.

The first company I tried from Angie's List didn't do slate roofs. The second company didn't call back. Critter Control called right back and went out of their way to find a convenient time for me. Mike was incredibly prompt and professional. He came up with a clear estimate and made me feel comfortable and confident about the work Critter Control will do to keep bats out of our house. I wish I had called them the first time!

Very well! We had a squirrel issue a while back. Critter Control came out and solved that for us. Fast forward to today and we have a squirrel eating away at our siding trying to get in. Mike checked the area and let us know that the squirrel had not obtained access - and hopefully just gave up. He offered to fix the siding while he was there which was a huge help to us.

It turned out to be a starling, and Ben found it and removed it. He even seemed concerned about the animal itself when it didn't fly away on its own. He made a recommendation on dealing with how the bird got in, and I will follow up. He looked the place over to see if there were any signs of other intruders. Critter Control was very nice and professional. Hopefully, though, I won't need them again soon!

Everything went very well. It turned out that we had flying squirrels in our walls, and that they were getting in and out through a hole in rotten wood in a corner of the eaves. Critter Control set up a one way trap, and ultimately caught eight flying squirrels, plus one random grey squirrel. This is more flying squirrels than can usually be expected, so it ended up being a longer job for Critter Control than usual, but the price remained the same. We had a couple of snowstorms during the time the trapping went on, and Critter Control were undeterred by the snowbanks, continuing to set and check the traps until all was quiet again in our walls. They repaired the place the squirrels gained access, and furthermore reinforced the same place on the other three corners of the house to prevent future access from those points. Throughout the entire process Critter Control stayed in regular contact via email and phone. I felt very sad for the cute little squirrels, but once individuals are used to getting in your house and think of it as their home, there's no keeping them out. I will say Critter Control treated the trapped squirrels carefully, carrying the cages gently, so I felt reassured that the squirrels met a humane end. All of these things were well worth the price paid, especially with the security we now have that all four weak points in the house are reinforced against future incursions.

I highly recommend Critter Control. I arrived home early one afternoon to hear animals romping around in the front wall of my home!! I found Critter Control (on Angie's List) who reassured me that it was probably squirrels and I had surprised them by coming home outside of my usual schedule. Who knows how long they had been squatting in the walls of my house! Matt found the entry point. He set up a trap and the squirrel was humanely captured the very next day. During the following week, Matt monitored the entry point to ensure that no other animals were getting in. He repaired the original entry point and sealed gaps in the dormers and corners of the house to avoid a repeat invasion. He installed the best looking chimney caps I have seen. We live in a semi-detached house and Matt worked with our neighbor to provide the same service to her home. Critter Control gave us a very handsome discount for the 2-year Residential Animal Protection Program (RAPP) for both houses in addition to the Angie's List discount.

This winter we were woken up by some scratching and tapping coming from the ceiling. Thankfully, Critter Control helped us out identifying the problem and then removing 6 squirrels that decided to move in. Christine and Ben and the rest of the crew provided excellent service and answered all our questions about the process of removing the squirrels and preventing their return. Highly recommended!
