Kim Cleary came to give the estimate and was very clear in explaining what Cleary and Sons did in restoration, how it compared to other companies.  He recommended that we not replace storms on the ground floor, and impressed me as honest and straightforward about what was worth doing, and what was only cosmetic.  The team that came to do both the window removal and then the reinstallation were extremely professional and considerate of the fact that we had small kids in the house (although we did clear out the kids for the removal of the windows in case of possible lead paint exposure.  They left our house immaculate.  the restored windows look amazing, and function beautifully-  open extremely smoothly, and no more drafts!!  Kim was also very straightforward when I had a question about the invoice -- we ended up having some work done that wasn't on our original contract, after discussion with Kim and our consent to do the work, and I asked for some additional information itemizing the extra work done, which Kim promptly provided.  I would highly recommend Cleary and Sons for any window work.

Cleary & Son Inc are extraordinary. They have a good reputation and they were able to all the work according to the approvals from the board. They are great. They are very good at restoration and fixing windows and any kind of maintenance work or repair work. There were a couple of window sills that had rotted out and they replaced them. Their price was very good and the quality was great.

This 100 year old house had several original palladian windows that were neglected and in poor to very bad condition. After a somewhat quirky sales cycle that included a last-minute cancellation, we reached agreement. The windows were removed and restoration work was done in their shop. Windows returned beautiful. Installation was well performed. Workers were professional, worked hard, short lunch break / stayed on site for full days. Thorough cleanup at completion of each day. Full cycle from removal to restoration to installation took approx 6 weeks which was close to original estimate. Quality work overall. Pricing for this type work is estimated but performed on time and materials basis. Our original estimate was exceeded by approx 10% after final negotiations.
