Boston Muffler does a great work; they let you know the price before they do work. I needed oil change and they found other issues. I have been a customer for years and have found them to be very honest and professional.

Very good experience -- surprisingly, told me to come right down when I called, and did the work a day later (only because I didn't have time when I first went in).

They were very nice and professional, but they weren't able to diagnose and fix the problem. Ultimately, I ended up taking to the car to the dealership. This was frustrating since I had paid the company quite a bit of money to do a lot of unnecessary work. My only caveat to others would be to avoid bring uncommon cars with uncommon problems to them.

Overall, my experience with them has been good. The staff is knowledgeable and doesn't try to upsell me which I appreciate. However, I was perturbed when I had to have my front brakes replaced just 13,000 miles after they had been installed, and the company's warranty period is for 12,000 miles. However, I'm not sure if this is an issue with the Honda brand or with the company's work.

They are very economical and trustworthy. On more than one occasion I brought in my cars thinking that a more expensive service was required, and they recommended other services that were more cost-effective and adequately addressed the problems. They are willing to buy used parts if they will work for me. I will use them again in the future.

I was very happy with the work and service they provided. The communication was good and they did what they said they would do and came in at the price they estimated.

After one of my jobs there I was driving on the highway and then the engine went out. I opened the hood and I found a pair of pliars in there. I took back the car to them and told them one of their technicians did a sloppy job. They offered me 200 dollars for the car which I thought was absurd because they could be the ones that messed up my car but I can't proove anything. They also charged me for looking at my car.


Addendum: NOT and quot;could be consideredand quot; a sloppy job, IS a sloppy job. The point is, given the and quot;could be considered a sloppy joband quot; reference, who knows what other tools may have been left in the engine which became entangled in the timing belt or say, parts from the work that had just been done (coincidence?) that were not tightened sufficiently comming loose causing it to snap or otherwise interfere with it's functioning. The valve job required to fix the damage from the snapped timing belt cost a lot. So, always check the work, especially under the hood, before paying. Once the work is done and paid for you really have no recourse.

They were good to deal with. They did a very comprehensive investigation of my vehicle. They were very good at explaining. Their work is excellent! I haven't had one problem with it. My regular mechanic was not able to repair this, so they were excellent! They took me right away when I called them about it.

My car needed its 30,000 mile service checkup and I called Boston Muffler. I have a broken foot and they came and picked it up as a favor. They don't usually do this. I've used them for two years and they definitely wanted to help me. I trust their work and they do honest repair work.
