"Looking back in my records (13 years ago) I don't remember the repair, my records indicate multiple causes for the engine light, we repaired one out of three. My guess is one of the other codes returned."
Addendum: NOT and quot;could be consideredand quot; a sloppy job, IS a sloppy job. The point is, given the and quot;could be considered a sloppy joband quot; reference, who knows what other tools may have been left in the engine which became entangled in the timing belt or say, parts from the work that had just been done (coincidence?) that were not tightened sufficiently comming loose causing it to snap or otherwise interfere with it's functioning. The valve job required to fix the damage from the snapped timing belt cost a lot. So, always check the work, especially under the hood, before paying. Once the work is done and paid for you really have no recourse.
"Just noticed this review this morning. I guess leaving a tool under someones hood could be considered a sloppy job, however the tuneup work we did to correct a check engine light has nothing to to do with this vehicle having blown his timing belt on the highway."
