Aten Concepts was professional and helpful every step of the way. I didn't even know I wanted solar till I talked to them. The consultant made it sound so easy over the phone and even helped get me my new roof! Would recommend it to anyone who is interested in saving money easy.

Usually I can't stand sales people for obvious reasons, and before they came out I was very skeptical. After hearing my coworker talk day after day about how great solar is, I figured it couldn't hurt to see what they could offer. Still, part of me believed it was a scam due to all the horror stories I have heard in the news and from a friend who went solar. However, the employees I had the opportunity to work with throughout the process were really incredible people. Nice man named bob came in, we made some small talk, he asked for my electricity bill so his engineer could design the system for my house. After about 10 minutes of small talk and answering a few questions (how old my roof was, why I got interested in solar, what most of my electricity is used on) he brought out his computer. It started off like the usual sales pitch... numbers, graphs, charts.. but he quickly ran through it and became very straight forward. He said you're not buying a solar system, you are investing in something that will give you a better return on your investment than any stock or bond. He proceeded to tell me that most people will smart themselves out of it because they feel like they are buying something expensive to only save a fraction of their electricity bill, but there is so much more to it than I had previously thought. It adds to the value of my home, there are incentives state and government that pay for a lot of the system to begin with, and essentially pay for the majority of my loan payments throughout the life of my system, and on top of all that it felt good because I was saving money to go green. They did need to run a credit check which sketched me out at first, but it is only a soft check and didn't affect my credit. I could go on and on about the benefits of it, but the main point of this is that this company did an amazing job answering my questions and concerns, informing me and debunking the many misconceptions surrounding solar, and they were very quick and efficient with getting it installed. If you do decide to go solar, I highly recommend Aten Concepts. I have noticed through others that the state incentives since I invested in green energy have already began to decrease, and they may be coming to an end soon. Energy companies raise price of energy annually. Not only will you put money back in your pocket immediately, they lock you in at a cheaper price then the energy companies now, and that price stays the same for 20 years. At the end of 20 years, you own the system, and your energy costs are essentially free. Not only did Aten Concepts give me a cheaper rate than other solar companies, I did my research and they put the best quality panels on my roof, and the team I worked with was incredible. They went out of their way to educate me and make sure I was comfortable. Thank you to Bob, Danny, and the people who came out to do the installation. I usually don't write reviews, but if it helps one person navigate the chaos that seems to surround the solar, it is worth it. Just a side note, I needed a new roof to begin with and when you do it through a solar company they got me back a third of the cost of my roof back, because it is considered part of going solar and is covered under the federal and state incentives!
