Real Estate Service
A broker was arranging a rental for me. She was on top of things and
initially kept up contact and seemed to do her job. But then it seemed
as if this was a relative or there was some "side" relationship going
on. Deal was all set for end of the month, broker went away on
vacation; I had movers all set, etc, utilities turned on in my name, and
then the landlord decided to bail. I had given a deposit and broker
just said : "well, nothing I can do". No explanation ! The broker
stopped returning my calls--did return my money. IMO, broker made
little effort to seal the deal--make it happen , and then she ignored
me.
