Bruce was very professional. I called Bruce and explained what happened to my system. We were without heat for the last 2 nights. Bruce triaged his customers and made the no heat call the highest priority. Bruce was able to come out earlier than he promised. Since I discussed the possible parts needed, he had me pick them up ahead of time to save us time with the repair. Bruce's troubleshooting, attention to detail, professionalism and voracious appetite for learning were on display as he easily installed a new power vent, vent damper as well as rewired a botched vent damper bypass effort by a previous technician. He explained how every part of the system worked and didn't try to upsell me on anything, which shows me that he really cares about his customers. I had working heat within 2 hours. I highly recommend Bruce due to his honesty, work ethic, punctuality and fair price for his service. He is a great asset to the Walpole community because it is very hard to find a great plumber.

I've been using Bruce for many years. He is one of the few contractors that I trust.... I wish I can clone him. What makes him stand out is that he is efficient and extremely neat with his work. His pricing is also very reasonable.

Great, Bruce and I exchanged a few emails. He was here a few days later. In less than an hour he installed the shutoffs and kitchen faucet. He also repaired the shower faucet. Will use again.

Bruce very quickly fixed all of our broken pipes and resolved our issues.   Yesterday Bruce came by to look at an issue with our boiler, which is actually not that old and he has been great to work with so far as we try to work through what we are going to do about this situation.    I would very highly recommend Bruce for any work that you need.

So I researched quite a few different tankless water heaters and spoke with a few plumbers during the estimate bidding process. I learned Rinnai was made in Japan and built with a copper primary heat exchanger and the secondary heat exchanger was built with stainless steel. The other manufacturers use copper on their primary heat exchanger and then aluminum on the secondary exchanger and the aluminum tends to oxidize in a couple years. Rinnai has also been around for a long time. The plumber used copper compression fittings, check valves on the recirculation line so the water would only flow one way on the recirculation line and added an expansion tank to prevent the pipes from banging. It was a lot of work for Bruce. He works by himself and that's why he can charge less than other plumbers but it took him longer to complete the work. There was a couple large snow storms but he was also very busy with other work so he had to squeeze me in and I had to be patient with him to come back when he could. He left my old hot water tank intact so I was never without hot water. I cut open one ceiling so he could gain access to the pipes and add a dedicated recirculation line. This is a really nice thing to have now that it's done, and I'm happy I insisted on this model and installing the dedicated line. He put a tee in the hot water line under the vanity in the bathroom upstairs (our furthest fixture) and ran it back to the Rinnai. It came with crossover valve but it is not code in MA so he didn't use it.. Then he fished a wire to our upstairs bathroom for the controller/timer. I'm also really happy he went the extra mile to run it up stairs in the bathroom because there's a little override button I can press when I want hot water before a shower and it gets it hot right away. He also did some additional work which I paid additional for such as changing out the main water shutoff coming into the house, he installed a water softener filter, and sediment filter with pressure gauges and a bypass loop. It all came out looking really nice.

I found Bruce while shopping for bids on a big radiant heating project. Bruce's bid was comparable to others, although we decided to put the project on hold because all the bids were higher than expected.
Anyway, since I was impressed with Bruce's professionalism and responsiveness, I offered him a small plumbing project. It was easy to schedule the work, he showed up on time, and he banged through the project in an hour with excellent results. Unlike many other plumbers I've used in the area over the past 20 years, I'm looking forward to giving Bruce repeat business.

Excellent. I can not recommend Bruce enough. Scheduling was easy, he showed up when he said he would, and the price was reasonable. I would not hesitate to use his services again. I've recommended him to friends and family and not a single one has been disappointed. My in-laws had a toilet stop working while they had houseguests and Bruce fit them in early the next morning (this happened late one night) and again -- reasonable cost, expert repair.

Bruce came out to give us an estimate on installing a new water heater on a Saturday morning, just one day after e-mailing him to request an estimate. Bruce was very professional upon arriving at our home. He assessed the area where the water heater would go and gave us our options. He had to check on some information and e-mailed it to me promptly. He then was very accessible and willing to answer questions throughout the decision process. After considering options we went with Bruce. He was available to install on the day/time we requested. Bruce and his assistant arrived early for the job and completed it as scheduled and were thorough and cleaned up. Bruce explained all the necessary information thoroughly and we are very pleased with our new water heater. I would certainly use Bruce again.
