Riverdale Plumbing and Heating

Description of Work: He was suppose to rip out our old bathroom completely and put in a new one. He was going to have two "men" on the job at all times. The rip-out went fine, $ 2800 handed to him, 1/3 rd of the contract price. Next came the install, his 2 high school sons showed up. They duck taped brown paper to our hard wood floors which later ripped up the urethane on top. They used 7 peices of wood on the new sub-floor over the studs, it actually looked like a puzzle. It moved when you walked on it so it wasn't level. The cement board around the tub was put on wrong side out for some of the peices. He kept my water lines coming out of the floor which they should of been moved to the wall. He then had a plaster guy come in to do the walls, who went through my stuff and I have now discovered that my gold wedding band is missing along with my husbands matching band (which needed to be cut off because of an injury to his hand) The floor was so bad we stopped the man from doing any more work because we like QUALITY and it was obvious these young men had no experience. I had given him the 2nd payment of $ 2800 and once I told him we were stopping him from proceeding he wouldn't give us back any of the money. I then had to get another plumber to finish the job. It ended up costing us about 12,000 which is high because my husband actually redid the subfloor and we proveded and paid for the tub, sink and toilet which we paid for at Fergurson's in Franklin.
