Things went ok. The job him and his crew does is average. Paul's follow up and communication is severely lacking. Before the project got started there were multiple start dates where they were no shows with no heads up or explanation given. He was supposed to start on April 22 and didn't actually come until May 6. There were multiple issues with the irrigation system from non functioning zones to sprinkler heads not working or being positioned wrong. In one instance within the same sprinkler zone he used misting heads and regular heads. Since they are on the same zone I flood the new shrubs he put in because I need the regular heads to do their job and water the lawn. The main issue I have open still to this day is that during the installation of the irrigation system his workers cut the underground cable for our driveway lights. Paul came out to address some of the issues noted above wrt to the sprinkler zones and heads and dug around in a few spots in the front yard to see if he could find where it was cut. He couldn't find where it was cut, filled the wholes back in, threw some seed on it and left. That was the first week of June and I haven't heard from him since. He also never called back and gave any directions or had any follow up regarding my questions on how to care for the new lawn he put down. After multiple calls to his office I finally gave up and sent him a certified letter to fix it. Still no response. If he doesn't respond by August 5 I will be hiring an electrician to fix the cable and a more reliable landscaper to patch the new holes I expect from the electrician. I will then pursue reimbursement through small claims court.
