+ -1 moreHE BROUGHT SOMEONE IN TO FIND HOLES AROUND OUR FOUNDATION, SEAL THEM, AND THAT WENT WELL. BUT HE SEEMS UNABLE TO SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS FOR HIMSELF, REQUIRING ME TO PLACE CALLS TO HIS WIFE EACH TIME HE LEFT MY HOUSE TO SCHEDULE THE NEXT VISIT. HE MISSED SEVERAL APPOINTMENTS, DIDN'T RESCHEDULE, THEN HE AND HIS WIFE STARTED TAKING 3 WEEKS AT A TIME TO RETURN CALLS INSTEAD OF A DAY OR SO. THIS LAST PROBLEM STARTED WHEN THE MICE WERE LARGELY GONE, AND THE MORE SKILLED WORK ON THE GARAGE WAS DUE. AFTER HE MISSED HIS 4TH APPOINTMENT, AND DIDN'T RESCHEDULE, I LET HIM KNOW I'D BE FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. HE SHOWED UP WITHOUT NOTICE IN OUR ABSENCE, DID SOME EXTREMELY SHODDY WORK, THEN DEMANDED FINAL PAYMENT ($75), WHICH WE REFUSED. HE SAYS HE'LL SUE US. THE BBB CONCLUDED THAT HE MADE REASONABLE EFFORTS TO RESOLVE THE DISPUTE, BUT HASN'T EXPLAINED WHAT FACTS SUGGEST THAT. I STRONGLY DISAGREE.
Description of Work: WE HIRED NICHOLSON TO ADDRESS A SEVERE MOUSE INFESTATION IN OUR HOME. HE SAID HE WOULD BAIT, POISON THE MICE, THEN SEAL OFF THE HOUSE AROUND THE FOUNDATION, AND INSTALL WOOD AT THE BASE OF OUR GARAGE DOORS TO SEAL OFF OPENINGS, AS WELL AS WEATHER STRIP THOSE DOORS. NICHOLSON IS CAPABLE OF CHECKING MOUSE TRAPS, AND REFILLING THEM WITH BAIT.
