Great experience! I wish every contractor was like Jason@Drycrete. We had an interior french drain that was 20+ years old and completely clogged, full of standing water most of the time. The result was a musty smell (lots of mold!) and occasionally water in the basement, plus a gurgling radon system that clearly wasn't working (the pipe was sitting in water under the slab). Jason is very knowledgeable: he diagnosed all the issues and also discovered that they previous owners had been draining water out of the sewer clean out. Drycrete installed a new drain in two days, accommodating our schedules and working around one of the recent snowstorms, and they fixed a large wall crack. The new system works great, removing anywhere from 100 to 700 gallons a day so far (it comes with an app that provides details on pump activity), and basement is dry. Jason also capped the sewer line and did a bunch of extra stuff while there, e.g. used extra cement to patch some holes in the slab and removed a cement pedestal that at one point probably held an oil tank. Very accommodating! Overall I highly recommend Drycrete.

Jason was courteous, professional and performed all services on schedule and st the agreed upon price. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This included capping and old sump pump, adding a new French drain around the internal perimeter of the basement, and putting in a new sump pump.

We finished our basement about 6 years ago and had a contractor install a sump pump, with a 10 year warranty. After a new flood this Spring (sump pump failed), we called the guy who gave us a 10 year warranty - out of business.... So... We researched solutions we got quotes from Drycrete Waterproofing and 3 other companies specializing in keeping water out of the basement. 2 of the 4 were priced ridiculously and had a high pressure sales tactic. One was less expensive, but I wasn't so sure of their quality. I met with Jason from Drycrete at our house and found him to be courteous, personable, knowledgable and extremely responsive. We hired him after reviewing his quote, set a date for the work to be done 2 months out do to his schedule and ours. A week before I had a few questions - he was quick to respond. Given we set the install 2 months in advance, I was skeptical that they would meet that date, but Jason and his team came exactly on the pre-set date, finished on time (2 full days) and on budget. The install had more than a few obstacles, but Jason worked around them and made sure we knew of any issues along the way. So far, so good, and we hope to keep it that way. The new Sump pumps are "smart" and send updates of use weekly to my email. Now I'm confident enough to refinish the basement and not be worried about the next major rain event. All in all, we are very pleased with Drycrete Waterproofing. Reasonably priced, well managed, and on time! I only wish all contractors were like that. Highly recommend Jason and his team.

We would highly recommend DRYCRETE WATERPROOFING. We consulted with other companies and were not happy with their prices and the way they pressured us to make a decision. Thank God, a family member recommended DRYCRETE. Best suggestion ever! The owner Jason is an excellent business person, down to earth, extremely knowledgeable, and very professional. He has his schedule down pat and frequently updated us as the work progressed. He was so willing to explain the how's and whys for what the job entailed. He also explained the pump monitoring system and helped us install the app for our phones and computer, and got us online and monitoring our system in minutes. Jason was just a pleasure to deal with. Trustworthy and dedicated to delivering what he promised, and his crew are just as wonderful....hard working, self directed, no nonsense type workers. Their aim was to do a job well done and efficiently and they sure succeeded! They even did an excellent job of cleaning up after completion. High marks for all! Absolutely no regrets on choosing DRYCRETE!

I recently bought a house and negotiated the installation of a sump pump/drainage system into the sale. I chose Drycrete for the installation because the price was fair and my initial interaction with Jason, the owner, was straight-forward and informative. I checked in with him several times leading up to the installation and he was always quick to respond with the information I was looking for. He attended the installation and kept me informed of why each step of the excavation/installation was necessary, offering thorough explanations throughout the process. He walked me through the pump installation/function/maintenance as well as that of the whole system, which, being a first-time homeowner, was much appreciated. The install was efficient with minimal mess, and the clean-up was fastidious. They even removed an old set of stairs I had intended to take out myself and dugout, leveled, graveled and re-poured the floor in it's place at no extra cost. I highly recommend Drycrete to anyone in need of a waterproof basement.

Fantastic! After meeting several companies to evaluate my basement and provide quotes, I chose to go with Jason of DryCrete Waterproofing. He was competitive with pricing, incredibility knowledgeable, he answered all of my questions and concerns thoughtfully with great detail, and truthfully felt the most sincere; there was no sales pitch, just information and facts. The day the work started Jason and his entire team showed up on time and completed the agreed upon work on time. He took the time to take pictures of the work at different junctures and shared with me so i could see the work as it progressed along. They were clean, efficient, hardworking...simply put a professional company. Jason stayed on site working with his crew the entire duration of the job. Once the work was complete he walked me through the job, clean-outs, the sump and how to set up my account on my computer and app on smart phone so my pump can be monitored and maintained by the company remotely...I love this! A final small but important note is they left my basement cleaner than when it was when they arrived. If you are in the market to get your basement waterproofed, make sure you call DryCrete Waterproofing.

Jason runs a very professional, efficient, and quality-minded small business. He promptly returned my calls, provided a written estimate, clearly explained what needed to be done to address my flooding basement, answered all my questions, and managed my expectations about lead times. He and his crew arrived early, had all the prep work done the day before and installed the french drain and sump pump in half a day. They left with my basement cleaner than when they entered it. They removed old mirrors and railings and even cemented a drainage hole in the main house cellar. I would highly recommend them!

I found Drycrete Waterproofing on Angie's List in December of 2016. I called and left a message and, within a few hours, the owner, Jason, called to set-up an appointment for an estimate. He arrived on time and was polite and patient with all of my questions. He explained the type of system he would install and he drew up a thorough, well-written estimate BEFORE he left my house. His estimate was more than reasonable; I signed the contract soon after. Jason gave me a target date for the work to be done and he was spot-on with assessment. He arrived early in the morning with his crew. He stayed on-site for the entire project and participated in the work. Jason, his foreman, and his crew were polite and respectful of my property. If I had any questions or concerns for Jason, all work would stop. Jason would patiently address my concerns The job took an entire day and a few hours of the following morning. The installation of a perimeter drain creates lots of dust and debris, but Jason and his crew did their best to prevent any such intrusion into the main part of my house. They cleaned up the basement afterwords. All I needed to do was to mop the basement floor once the concrete had dried. In addition to the perimeter drain, Jason installed a mesh "grid" along the base of my foundation wall to funnel water, if present, into the perimeter drain. The drain lines empty into a large sump with a PumpSpy sump pump. I had never heard of this system before, but Jason highly recommended it. The PumpSpy system includes a main pump, a battery back-up pump, and a cellular connection to a free monitoring service. If any issues occur, I receive a text and an email alerting me to the problem. There is an app for one's phone as well. It offers great piece of mind, especially during a storm or if you are away. Overall, Jason and Drycrete Waterproofing provide high quality work and excellent customer service. I did not know Jason before this experience and this review is completely unsolicited. I just want people to know that he has a great company and does great work. I have recommended him to neighbors and a home improvement company in my town (in case they need to sub-contract such a job).

Jason as so easy to work with. He was by far the easiest to communicate with and had the lowest quote. He came with his crew and got all of the work done in one day. You would barely know they were there besides the jack hammering. Would definitely recommend.

Jason was professional, responsive, courteous, and did a great job installing our sump pump and drainage system. When we had an issue with the pump two years later (a manufacturing issue and not Jason's fault) he contacted the manufacturer, obtained a new and upgraded pump (with battery backup), and installed the new unit all at no charge to us. He always answered the phone when we called, even after hours, and he went out of his way to make us happy. We couldn't be happier with his services, and would highly recommend him to anyone.

They had to dig down like 2 feet, they were like some concrete under peonage drainage under that. They were all good, they were very good. It’s challenging to find someone to renovate a basement and dig down and do that work and they handled it. It was a challenging job. A lot of dirt to dig out and it was not easy. So, in terms of basement renovations, that’s where these guys are very good.

Great. All is well now thanks to Jason and PumpSpy. I would not have realized that my pumps were not working if I didn't have the PumpSpy monitoring system. Eventually, water in my basement would have alerted me to the problem but the problem was corrected without a drop of water in my basement :) Promp, professional response and problem solved without a fee for the home visit.
