Berbert & De Melo Construction Co

We wanted to get this done in a hurry, before the new year, and Berbert & De Melo Construction were able to get the job done on a fairly short notice.  This was very helpful to us.  They worked this around the various holidays (between Christmas and New Years), and had a few delays, but given the short notice, time-of-year, and weather, were punctual and responsive.
Our house has old and not particularly well-maintained shingles, and subsequent to the installation of insulation  some of the shingles have fallen out -- about 5 or 6 to date.  (Pumping the insulation requires removing shingles at various locations, drilling a hole through the slats behind the shingle, pumping in the cellulose, and then putting the shingle back on, leaving the hole behind the shingle.)   I don't know how much of the problem is due to underlying issues with the shingles on our house.  (Note: I never did contact them after the fact to fix these shingles, so it was not a significant problem, and they did not have the opportunity to respond.)
It was pleasant doing business with the company, and they were willing to work with our very tight schedule requests.

It was a great experience from start to finish.  They came recommended from a friend and since then I have recommend them to my customers.

They gave me an estimate on the 14th of August and I hired them to get the work done on the 20th of August. I got estimates from different companies, but I never hired them. The crew from Berbert and De Melo were very professional and respectful throughout the process. The service provided by them was excellent. I was very pleased with the outcome. Overall they were very good. They did the complete ventilation in the attic, but they forgot to tell the workers to cover all the things in the attic. They cleaned up the attic after the work was done and they felt very bad about it. I think I would use them again in the future.
