The Maids of North Shore

This was my first time using The Maids and I was very impressed.  They cleaned my 12 room home from top to bottom in a very thorough and professional manner.
i gave them instructions about what I would like done and they went over and above my expectations.
i would definitely recommend them to friends and neighbors.

they did a very good job.  with so many hands, they did their work very quickly.

They are great and very reliable!

The last team we had was terrible. On one occasion I found my nightguard, which had been left in its cup on bedside table, in the trash.  I called the office and they said they would speak with them. I also requested a change in team and was willing to change day and time if necessary. They told me they would send a new team but then the usual one arrived. That last cleaning was the worst. The vacuuming was not done thoroughly, they skipped the office entirely and the kitchen counters were still sticky when they left. It was a waste of my money, so I cancelled the service. I also found the office staff very unhelpful.

Initial Cleaning that is expensive was impressive.  Our initial subsequent periodic monthly cleanings were very good.  However, over time, the cleaning quality declined.  They broke a mirror (not the glass--it is hard to explain without pictures), and left no apology as well.  It was a minor repair, but never offered to make it right.  I think when we moved to bi-monthly cleaning, their cleaning really declined.  In addition, from the few times we worked from home, we learned they would often arrive late.  They also would e-mail or leave a voicemail and tell us they were coming at not our regular periodic time slot, even though we had never discussed moving it.  They also cancelled a cleaning due to one inch of snow.
I once complained I didn't think they cleaned around the tub very well.  I never noticed any improvement.
We used them for over a year.  We finally decided to just cancel the service.  The period cleanings were 150 to a little over 200 for a 1000 sq ft apartment depending on frequency.

It has been going well, but sometimes they switch up the people that come in they switch up the crew and I prefer that it's the same crew, but overall it has been good. Pricing depends on what you have them do and how many rooms you have done.

The fact that they did so many truly STUPID things suggests that the owner does not care much either.  I hired the office near Reading, serving the north/northwest part of Boston.  Possibly other locations are different. 

They come with equipment in a team of 4 or 5 with very little English, but an advanced plan of what they should do.

Thorough, professional and honest.

They are quite expensive- and the lack of English makes communication difficult.  (The lead cleaner has some English- the rest  none).

     They got everything that I asked them to clean.  The unit looks almost brand new again.  The new tenant was very happy with the work they performed.

It's a team of three or four people who come. They are very good. They are here for an hour and they get a lot done. First time when they came, it was a good experience for me. In fact all the experiences are good. Their price is fair. Their pricing is really very accommodating according to your needs. They are very responsive. They call ahead and let me know that they are coming; because we do forget and don't put on our account. They are very much professional. I will use them in the future.
