My insurance company's adjuster had recommended Pro-Dry Restoration. When Pro-Dry Restoration removed the damaged walls, an oversight caused the dehumidifier's hose to flood a section of the hardwood floor; lots of water leaked into the basement. The crew chief cleaned up the mess within two hours after I reported the problem. The water removal service is good. The crew was made up of Pro-Dry Restoration employees. They were punctual, efficient, and courteous. After the project manager assured me that only full-time employees would be working on my project, I hired them to restore the walls and paint the rooms. I complained after each phase of my project that subcontractors had been used and their work was not very good. Each time, the project manager told me that the full-time crews had been busy with another project. That's why subcontractors had been hired. At best, the quality of the work was below average. The 3-man crew ordered me to clean up after them and demanded money after they installed the wall boards. Very large holes had been cut into the new walls for no reason so the walls had to be replaced. The painters' and carpenter's work was terrible. Pro-Dry had to repaint many of the walls. There were holes in my kitchen floor after they moved the refrigerator. It took months and a few attempts to repair the floor. I had overpaid for the work so I received a check. Two branches of the company's bank wouldn't cash the check. The first bank told me it was a fraudulent check. The second bank told me they couldn't cash the check. They couldn't tell me why due to privacy laws. Pro-Dry Restoration replaced the check with a certified bank check three days later. I was unable to immediately cash it because it was dated two days later.
