Matt's Oil Burner Service

2 years ago I gave this business a 5 star for their efficiency but unfortunately today December 1st I retract to a 1 star,I wish there was an option for zero.after patiently waiting for 3 days,Matt called said he's 30 mins out,he got to my house and apparently knocked and walk to the backyard and back to the front, I live in a 4 family house,a knock on the door won't notify anyone. He didn't call to notify me of his arrival. My wife saw the truck outside and brought it to my attention, she went got the door open and he was swearing at her. As I got downstairs he gave me the dirtiest look ever and started swearing at me and then said "get someone else" and stormed to his van then peeled out like a drag racer while looking at me swearing. I stood in shock as I didn't understand why he was so mad,all he had to do was call saying he's here instead of knocking on a door of a 4 family house. I'll never ever use nor recommend this business to not even my worst enemy! NB: NONE OF MY CHECKS WERE EVER BOUNCED!!!

He's great, service was very good and price was reasonable.

I'm a person that wants to shop for oil. Prices are everywhere. When you hook up with a oil company they controll what you pay. If you try to leave them for a better price, they threaten you with you won't be able to use their emergency service or if fact any oil burner service. So many people just chose to just stay with that company.
Well, I found Matt on Angie's list. He's my answer for oil price independance. He did a great job and I'm on his list of customers that can call him 24/7.

We arrived home at nearly 6:30 pm, in a snow storm, to learn that the antique oil burner furnace in our new home was not functioning. The interior temperature was 60F and falling. The babysitter was due in 10 minutes, because Thursday is date night.We called our oil delivery company, with whom we have a service contract. No response. The babysitter came. She called her mother who provided a referral. No response. Angie's List to the rescue. Matt was responsive and arrived a half hour earlier than estimated. We still managed date night dinner out, and we went to bed in a toasty home. Thanks so much for providing the new igniter and ignition sensor, Matt!

It was really expensive, but it was a labour intensive job. The tanks themselves are probably thirty years old, so there was a lot of sediment, and I had to either try to clean the tank or actually replace it, which would have cost a lot more money. I was able to save money by having him clean the tank. So far, everything has been good. I have tried out a couple of others before I found him, and I will continue to use him in the future.

He arrived as scheduled, performed the service in a timely manner, and left

We woke up to no heat in our home on a Saturday morning. The boiler's breaker had tripped due to the boiler's igniter transformer having an internal short and literally blowing the side off of itself across the basement floor. We called Matt after seeing some reviews of his service and not only did he answer on a Saturday morning, but he was at our home in less than an hour even though we had never used him before.

Matt happened to have the necessary parts on hand and even offered us a used part first as I had told him we were looking to replace the entire boiler anyways. I opt'd for the new part with the way my luck had been going that week anyways. He also replaced the optical sensor as it was looking a bit worn and tired.We were very happy with Matt's service and will definitely recommend and use him again in the future.

It is nice to be able to still find someone who believes in customer service, takes pride in their work, and is very personable.

Great! He did the work as he said he would in a timely manner. He even patched the floor over the new oil line.

I have been using them for the last two years. They come once a year and they call me and I just leave them. The job went well and we have had them back. They are on time, accurate and clean. He is pretty cheap and reasonable. He comes right away. He was actually recommended to me by the oil delivery company.

My tenant called me on a cold Saturday and told me she had no heat or hot water because she had ran out of oil. She had fuel delivered and the fuel company could not get the burner to start or even prime. I could not reach my normal burner guy or severall other companies I tried to reach. I found Matt on Angies List and spoke with him on saturday night. Matt showed up sunday morning at the agreed time and had the burner woking in short order at the estimated price. Matt is courteous and professional and you can reach him even in the busy season. He is my new burner guy.

Matt showed up promptly and performed the requested tuneup. He also examined the problem we are experiencing and recommended some next steps to take for resolution.

Contacted Matt at 6A on a Monday for emergency service for our oil burner. He answered the phone early in the morning and came out within an hour to fix our heating system. He is extremely responsive.
