HORRIBLE! I don't recommend this company to anyone. My 2 years old Whirlpool fridge stop cooling so Whirlpool sent this guy. John came, plug my fridge and let stating he was coming back in 2-3 hours, NEVER DID. Called them next day, and next day and they never got back to me, EVER and they never picked up the phone. And I don't want to start anything here but, maybe because I'm Latino? Because the technician never looked at my face when talking to me, not once. Worst service ever!!

GE hired them. Not me. The guy who made the appointment was difficult to understand and unsure he'd make it because of a potential snow storm (he repeated over and over, "if there's a foot of snow, I'm not coming") without coming up with a backup plan. A guy did show up. My first impression was his truck almost hitting my car. There was snow in the street and a bit in my driveway, but his tires were completely bald. The plumber was not intelligent. He had me turn off the water, which I did at the main because not all the shut offs in my house can be trusted. He told me not to shut off the main because my pipes might freeze. It was 30 degrees out, 48 in the basement, and he was going to be there for 3 hours: how were my pipes going to freeze? He kept arguing with me about it. Now the dishwasher has pulled away from the counter and is out of level so it won't run. That means that he didn't level the machine before he pushed it into place. Don't ever hire this company.

Purchased from Dracut Appliance, they were unable to repair.  Called Whirlpool, they recommended LAR to repair it free of charge.  LAR diagnosed it correctly, ordered the parts and it was repaired.  One year later, no problems.

Spoke to in store rep on phone sounded very disinterested about messing up the appointment. Wanted to reschedule to the following week but inflexiable on Fridays. I said no thanks we work for living too that's why we sheduled a month in advance. Bad experience and then I see bad reviews on Yelp too now. My advice ...avoid this contractor.

I'm really pleased with the service I've received from L.A.R. I used this company because Tri-City Sales had sent them to my home to help with a broken dishwasher a couple of months ago, and I was really impressed with them then. This experience was no different. When I called, someone answered right away, asked me a few questions, and gave me a couple of date options for having a technician come to my home. Today, Roland called before coming over, just to make sure the time was still good for me. He was very courteous, and professional. Best of all, my washer is fixed.

They were called the day after we realized the issue since the day we saw it was New Years day. Because of the holiday's and vacations within the company, it took them a week to make an appointment to take a look. I knew they would need to order a part, and I knew at least one part they would need to order, but they did not want to do anything before arriving to take a look. Turns out, I was correct, they ordered the part. It took over a week to get the part in and then another week to schedule someone to come by for a 10 minute replacement. All in all, we were out of a washing machine for a time that felt like forever, but they got the job done and submitted it for warranty, therefore we paid nothing; so overall we have nothing to complain about. It took a while to do scheduling, but they arrived within the 4 hour window we were given and they worked quickly.

Repairman came as scheduled, took 5 minutes to diagnose - needed to order part. $70/labor minimum. Returned the next week to install part - $70 labor/minimum +$20 part. Slight scheduling snafu as the repairman came a day early with the part (and another repairman came the next day at the originally scheduled time!). Completely happy with everything but the cost - shouldn't really have to pay 2 hours labor for 10 minutes of work, but that's how things are these days!

LAR's dispatchers were very unprofessional on the phone. Our washer was repaired, but soon stopped working again. They decided that it had to be taken into the shop to be fixed, so we scheduled that; a big hassle. When returned, it still didn't work! We scheduled yet another visit and it needed a new part. The next time the repairman came, he showed up and said, "I don't have the part I need." He was also rude to my wife. We rescheduled. He came back and tried to install the part. After some time, he informed us that the part he brought was defective, eventually, they told us that the warranty company would give us a new washing machine! The repairman actually had the gall to offer us an extended warranty with them for the new machine! HA! We had another hassle getting the new washer installed, but we were glad to be done dealing with LAR. We would never recommend LAR to anyone; our washer was down for weeks. These people deserve your "contractor from H***" award.

We would highly recommend LAR service and would use them again without hesitation! We purchased the refrigerator and freezer from Expo and they wanted $400 to hook up the plumbing and move the unit into place! Instead, I called GE to obtain recommendations and LAR answered the phone right away and scheduled the visit. Unfortunately, our first visit was postponed due to a snowstorm, but the installer called early that morning to let me know of the change. When the appointed day arrived, we were given a 4 hour time slot, and the 2 installers arrived within that time frame. They were experienced, very professional, and thoroughly handled the entire installation and cleanup. The job only cost $147!
