Capital Contracting Inc

Capital Contracting gave us an estimate for repairs and painting the outside of our house in August.  They stalled until November.  They never answer their phone and it takes multiple calls to get them to call you back.  When they finally did come, they sent out the painters before the carpenters!  So the rot was painted over and all the repairs they needed to make were not made before painting.  A little backward, if you ask me!  Repair first, paint second.  When we looked at the quality of the work, there were windows painted shut, boards hanging off, leaks still present.  When we called them, they didn't answer for over a week.  It was only when my brother threatened to go to the Consumer Affairs Office and the BBB with a formal complaint that Jason finally called.  This whole thing was a fiasco.  I would never hire these guys again

After doing their work, the leak was still there. What I like was that they came back a few times to deal with it. Towards the end, the head contractor said, "Well, we're sure the leak is not caused by any of the work we did," which means that he has not resolved the issue. They deserve credit for coming back several times but I'm not sure they really resolved the problem. My concern is the caulking is a temporary fix and when we get some rain, the problem will come back.
