I can't express how pleased we were working with Kevin. Even on my initial call through AngiesList, he spent a great deal of time patiently explaining process, fees, etc. We agreed to proceed and moved forward. Anyone who has refinanced over the last several years knows how much work is involved in putting applications and documents together. They were extremely helpful and always found workarounds for some problematic situations. The rate was terrific and even though the rate lock had expired through no fault of our own, Kevin was able to maintain the great rate for us even though rates were on the way up. We will most definitely be coming back to Kevin again!

All has gone extremely well to date. My loan was approved very quickly and they were amenable to making a change late in the game. I'm just waiting to wrap up one thing on my end before we close. I would recommend Kevin without reservation.

Within an hour of contacting him, Kevin returned my call and provided several quotes and took the time to explain about the loan market. He is a joy to talk to and has excellent communication skills. A real pleasure to work with.

Overall, I was satisfied with the experience of working with Kevin. He was professional and knowledgeable, presenting many options for mortgage refinancing. Unfortunately, one of the junior people in his office let our application sit around without taking action and the rate quote expired. The rate went up by the time we re-applied. On discovering what had happened, Kevin quickly investigated, admitted the mistake and found a way to keep the rate at the original quote. I was not expecting but was very satisfied with that response. Although we lost a few months in the process, I would work with Kevin again, as his response to our situation provided us with a good overall result.

This is the 3rd time I've gone through the mortgage/refi process (original purchase and 2nd refi). This was the best experience of the 3, not to mention the cheapest (no closing costs) and best relative rate to the market. Most of our paperwork was sent securely electronically and the requests for additional data were clear and easy to provide. So in summary compared to previous mortgages, they were cheaper, faster, easier, and better at communicating. So I would use them again (although I hope to never refi again).

I called Mortgage Master based on the ratings here on Angie's List. My first contact was with Kevin Flannery. Kevin was oddly amusing but very personable and effective in his communication. He quickly reviewed the details of my loan requirements and verbally quoted various loan rates and options. I agreed to proceed with the loan since the rates and costs he was offering me were lower than most of the other quoted rates I had received from other vendors. Kevin locked in the rate immediately for 30 days and sent me an email thoroughly outlining the process, introduced the other team members I would interact with, and provided me with a list of all required documentation that would be needed. A few days later I received the completed application and disclosure documentation for my review and signature. From there the process proceeded rapidly. I was never required to visit his office. The few times I needed to speak with one of Kevin's team members I either got through immediately or my call was returned almost immediately. Despite skepticism from many people including the sellers, lawyers etc Kevin had this loan closed well within the 30 day lock period as promised. Honestly, I was amazed, especially with the enhanced scrutiny loan applications are currently receiving. The entire experience with Mortgage Masters was marked by efficiency and professionalism. I would most definitely work with them again and would highly recommend them.

When buying our new home, we used one of the mortgage brokers our realtor recommended....big mistake. Poor communication, dropped balls right and left. We decided to go with our first instinct and call Kevin at Mortgage Master. From the outset, he was knowledgeable, friendly and funny! He took our application over the phone, and in less than 45 minutes we had a rate lock and he set up an appraisal on the new property. All communication was done via email through a secure server and pdf files. His assistants Ellen and Michelle are EXTREMELY thorough and worked with us every step of the way to ensure we closed our loan with ease. We had a tight turn around for a commitment (less than two weeks), Kevin and his team met the deadline with two days to spare. Their in-house underwriting team handled the process swiftly and didn't kill us with endless requests for documents. When there were closing delays on our buyers part (they should've used Kevin), the team handled the changes with ease. They extended our rate lock with no fee and kept things moving forward. This is our third and final house and was by far the easiest loan process we've ever undergone. We highly recommend Kevin, Michelle and Ellen at Mortgage Master. If there was a choice to give them an A+++ rating, I would. They literally made our dream come true!

As this is the second time I've refinanced with Kevin at Mortgage Masters I have his webpage as a favorite. I was checking into rates to see where they are and Kevin then called me to see if I needed anything. We then discussed my options and whether or not it was a good idea to refinance again. Where the rates were and what the next steps would be. Kevin is very honest, it's not just about getting the business, he walked me through what was right for me not just what I thought I needed. We then began the process, Kevin's team immediately locked me into the rate I had requested, no strings but it's important to lock in, you can change your mind later if needed. Within a day or two I received a package with all the material I needed to sign as well as the information Kevin's team needed from me to proceed. Kevin also made sure the essor was contacted and told me to call him if the essor hadn't contacted me within a week for an appointment. Once all the paperwork was back and all the "t's" crossed, the attorney came to our home with all the paperwork and took care of everything. I even had some questions after we signed the paperwork which they got back to me within a day as you have at least three days to change your mind after signing.

He quickly understood my refinance goals and presented several viable options including a 20 year loan that was close to ideal for my situation. I verbally agreed to proceed with the loan. Kevin locked in the rate immediately and within 12 hours sent an email thoroughly outlining the expected process, introducing other team members I would interact with, and providing a list of all required documentation. MM is very tech savvy and encourages use of email for document transfer using secure PDF where possible. A few days later I received the completed application and disclosure documentation for my review and signature along with a pre-paid return envelope. The approval process proceeded rapidly. I was never required to visit the MM office. The few times I needed to speak with a MM team member I either got through immediately or my call was returned promptly. My first conversation took place on 5/14 and the refinance closed on 6/25. I think this was an excellent response time, particularly with the enhanced scrutiny loan applications are currently receiving. The entire experience with Mortgage Masters was marked by efficiency and professionalism. I would gladly work with them again and would highly recommend them.

On an initial phone conversation, we discussed rates for 15 and 30 year fixed conventional mortgages, all of the closing costs, and the option to get a no points, no closing cost mortgage where the costs are folded into the monthly payments. Kevin was knowledgeable and had the best rate for the mortgage I was interested in, so based on the Angie reviews I decided to go ahead with Mortgage Master. I did an application and then over a period of 2-3 weeks was asked for and sent what seemed to be hundreds of documnents of my financial condition, all via email. The documentation was required by the lenders used by Mortgage Master. Kevin and his team then worked hard to approve the mortgage in the short time allowed, and got it done in time for my closing. He and his associates were pleasant, helpful and responsive. Everything was done by email, which worked well for both me and them. In summary I thought they did an excellent job and I would recommend them to anyone, based on my experience.

I called Kevin about a mortgage loan after seeing his outstanding rating and reviews on Angie's List. He agreed to meet my wife and me for a consultation. He spent a generous amount of time with us discussing the particular type of loan we needed. He had a very clear vision and insights but because of the type of loan we needed (203K) he recommended a colleague of his who specialized in renovation loans. I wish he had been able to work with us because he was extremely professional and knowledgeable as shown by the reviews and awards he's received. I will undoubtedly call Kevin when it's time for us to refinance.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!! If you are in need of a mortgage or a refinance, do yourself a favor and call Kevin. He and his entire team are truly amazing. This was not the first mortgage or refinance I have ever done. But, for sure it was the best. I will definitely call Kevin when it is time for my next mortgage. This group has the highest standards in professionalism. They are talented, experienced, organized, and highly responsive. They replied to every email within minutes or hours. When staff were out of the office (on vacation, etc.), they had good cross-coverage. My situation was particularly challenging as I live outside the US. But despite the additional challenges this introduced, the process could not have been smoother or more efficient. In case the efficiency and professionalism are not enough, the group is really pleasant to work with. Kevin has a great sense of humor which can go a long way in dealing with the stress and hassles that lenders introduce in the process. Kevin Flannery did an incredible job on our refinance and we can?t recommend him highly enough. We turned to Kevin after trying unsuccessfully to get competitive offers from our own lender and other big name banks. None of them addressed our top concern, which was a balloon that would fall due at an inconvenient time. We saw Kevin?s ad in Angie?s List and thought we?d give him a try. What a difference! Unlike the big names, who just wanted to sell loans, Kevin went right to work to solve our problem. He quickly outlined a number of options that no one else even mentioned, and we ultimately closed on a deal that did it all and then some. We got rid of the balloon and lowered the total cost of the loan. We also lowered our monthly payment, giving us the flexibility to pay the loan off faster if we want to. Throughout the process, Kevin was exceptionally generous with his time and expertise, answering all our questions so we were completely comfortable with the deal. At one point we thought the package Kevin was offering sounded too good to be true, so we called a friend?s highly-recommended broker for a reality check. He agreed that we were right to be skeptical and asked where the offer came from. I recently refinanced my mortgage through Kevin Flannery and his excellent team at Mortgage Master, Inc. From the first inquiry I made by phone (where Kevin himself answered the phone) up through the closing, everything went very smoothly and efficiently. The process was simple and quick. Kevin and his staff was excellent about communicating every step of the way regarding the progress of the loan. I would not hesitate to recommend Mortgage Master or to use them again in the future.

Kevin was very helpful throughout the refinance process. He took the time to understand our somewhat unique situation and was happy to take the time to provide estimates and explain the process even before we committed to the refinances. The overall process, including initial applications, appraisals and final closing, took almost three months. Kevin refunded the appraisal fees we paid out of pocket at closing as promised and provided very reasonable fixed rates for the two mortgages we refinanced. There were a few numbers that got switched between our two sets of closing documents, but Kevin's attorney was quick to correct those mistakes. Anytime we had a question, someone was available by phone or email to answer it.

For a mortgage refi it was as easy as it could be.

My friends needed to close in a very tight timeframe -- 3 weeks.. Almost unheard of these days. Very unprofessional and poor experience.

I liked that I was able to do everything over the phone. I bought a mortgage inside an hour. He was polite, and he followed up with me. His responsiveness was excellent, and he was punctual. I would use their services again in the future.

From the first phone call through the closing, Kevin and his staff are the professional, straightforward, clear and honest business people you hope to find. Kevin is very patient, great at explaining the details of refinancing, does what he says he's going to do. In my experience with multiple mortgages and refinancings, the process with Kevin was the best of all. Throughout the process, I felt I was dealing with someone who could make an honest living at the same time as keeping my interests in mind. A pleasure to work with, no surprises, highly recommended!

Kevin has refinanced for us before. This was particularly tricky, because we did not have the paperwork all together for a long time on our end. The paperwork has been getting more onerous in recent years, but Kevin and his team worked with us through it all. It took 4 months (our challenges, not his), and yet, he somehow kept our rate, kept us going, and we now have a significant savings - over $400 a month! As a first time homebuyer, it's difficult to find someone you can trust to help you through the process, but Kevin is always calm and composed. Every obstacle that came up in the process, he helped me work through and ultimately closed the loan almost a week early (which is unbelievable). Any time you pick up the phone, day or night, he's available. I would recommend Kevin without hesitation.

She was extremely knowledgeable, detail-oriented and responsive throughout the entire process. She answered even the most naive of questions, was available pretty much 24/7, and ran multiple loan scenarios so we could find the best fit for our needs. I felt like we were in great hands and there were no bumps or glitches along the way. I cannot recommend Kelcey enough!
